'Hunar Se Rozgar Tak’ Training Programme Admissions 2014
Kerala Tourism Development Corporation Limited has
invited applications for admission to 'Hunar Se Rozgar Tak' training scheme,
commencing on 01st February 2014. Hunar Se Rozgar Tak (HSRT) is a Government of
India initiative to promote skill development in various trades. The programme
is aimed at empowering the youth from among the economically weaker section.
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has initiated training programmes
in hospitality trade courses in Food Production (Cook), Food & Beverage
Service (Waiter) and Housekeeping Utility (Housekeeper).
The admission for the courses will be open to 8th
pass youth in the age-group of 18-28 years. The duration of the course is as
follows.
Food Production (Cook) - 8 Weeks
Food & Beverage Service (Waiter) - 6 Weeks
Housekeeping Utility (Housekeeper) - 6 Weeks
This is a free course of the Government of India. A
skill test is conducted at the end of the course. Those who pass the skill test
is awarded the Certificate by the Govt. of India. Tool kit, Uniform, Stipend @
Rs. 2000/- for Food Production (Cook) and @ Rs.1500/- for Food & Beverage
Service and Housekeeping Utility will be given to the students.
The courses will be conducted in 21 hotels of KTDC.
