The IVRI Deemed University invites application
for the admission in the PhD Programme in different disciplines of Veterinary
& animal Sciences as mentioned below. The selection will be made on the
basis of written examination for all candidates including sponsored candidates
on 1st June, 2014 (Sunday) as per schedule notified in the Information
Bulletin-2014-15 uploaded on IVRI website.:
DISCIPLINES:
Animal Biochemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Animal Genetics & Breeding,
Animal Nutrition, Livestock Production & Management, Livestock Products
Technology, Poultry Science, Vet. Bacteriology, Vet. Extension Education, Vet.
Immunology, Vet. Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Vet. Medicine, Vet.
Parasitology, Vet. Pathology, Vet. Pharmacology, Vet. Physiology, Vet. Public
Health,
Vet. Surgery
& Radiology, Vet. Virology
ELIGIBILITY:
- MVSc degree in the concerned discipline with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate
or CGPA 7.00/10.00 or equivalent for general and OBC candidates and 55% marks
or CGPA 6.45/10.00 or equivalent for S.C./S.T. or sponsored candidates. The
minimum age for admission for Ph.D. shall be 23 years and there will be no
upper age limit. The age shall be reckoned as on 1st August, 2014.
HOW TO
APPLY: - Information Bulletin and Application form for admission can be
obtained from university counter. Information Bulletin and Application form are
also available on website (www.ivri.nic.in)
and can be downloaded and completed
application form have to be submitted to Asstt. Admn. Officer (Acad.), IVRI,
Izatnagar-243122, Bareilly (UP) as per scheduled in the Information Bulletin.
The fee is
to be paid through a bank draft of Rs. 1200/- for General/OBC category and Rs.
1000/- for SC/ST category candidates drawn in favour of “ICAR, Unit IVRI,
IZATNAGAR” payable at State Bank of India, CARI Branch (Code No. 7027),
Bareilly as detailed above.

Note: -
1. In case,
the candidate who has appeared for the qualifying exam and result hasn’t been
declared, may also apply subject to condition
that final
MVSc certificate has to be submitted at the time of registration/admission.
This is a mandatory requirement to all the candidates.
2. 15% ,
7.5%, 27% & 3% seats are reserved for S.C. / S.T. /OBC & Physically
Handicapped candidates respectively, subject to their
being
otherwise eligible as specified in detail in the clause 4.9 of the information
bulletin.
3. Postal
delay in any matter concerning admission will not be the responsibility of the
Institute.
