Admission Notice 2014
Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur has
invited applications for admission to UG / PG & Certificate programmes of
Academic Year 2014-15.
Courses
& Eligibility:
a) Under Graduate Professional Diploma in Craft
& Design
10+2 from a recognized board of education
Students appearing in the qualifying examination
for 10+2 in the year 2014 are eligible to apply.
b) Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Craft
& Design
Recognized Degree or Diploma in Architecture /
Design, Fashion / Fine Art, Home Science in Textiles & Clothing or
Artisan's child / ward with 5 years direct work
experience in hereditary traditional crafts after successful passing Senior
Higher Secondary Board Examination or
Graduates in any discipline with an aptitude
towards craft, fashion or design
Students appearing in the qualifying examination in
the year 2014 are also eligible.
c) Certificate Programme
i. Certificate Programme in Foundation Course in
Fashion & Design (FCFD)
10+2 from a recognized board of education
Students appearing in the qualifying examination
for 10+2 in the year 2014 are eligible to apply.
ii. Certificate Programme in Crafts Design &
Techniques (CDT)
Candidates having passed 10+2 from a recognized
board of education or
Candidates having passed class 10, and having
certificate/diploma (minimum one year) in relevant field course from any
Government or Government sponsored Institute or
Candidates having passed class 10 and having three
years relevant experience in craft sector, after passing Secondary Board
Examination
Preference will be given to students sponsored /
nominated by:
Central / State Government or autonomous / board /
entity owned by Central / State Government or
Eminent NGO’s / association working in craft sector
such as AIACA, CCI, Dastkar, SEWA.
iii. Certificate Programme in Craft Management and
Entrepreneurship (CME)
Fresh Graduates having an intent towards
entrepreneurship or
Sponsored candidates or equivalent from Government
& NGO having relevant education and experience or
Candidates with Professional diploma in
Design/Management with 1-2 years’ experience.
Admission Guidelines for Foreign Nationals / NRI
Category
The Foreign Nationals / NRI candidates seeking
admission to IICD must have required qualifications similar or equivalent to
that required for Indian Candidates. The admission of Foreign Nationals / NRI
candidates in various UG / PG / Certificate Programmes of IICD is based on
certain guidelines:
The candidates selected under this category would
need to obtain a valid residential permit or student visa for the prescribed
duration of the programme and / or any other condition required as per the law
of land (Government of India).

The Application form for Admission 2014-15 sessions

Fill up the application form. Enclose the attested
mark sheet / grade sheet / certificates of 10th & 12th or final year
college examination. Affix your passport size photograph in the space provided
and attach the demand draft of requisite amount with the application form.
On the back of Demand Draft please write: your name
& programme applied.
The application form along with demand draft and

Admission
Process Fee:
The Admission process fee for Indian Candidates is
Rs.1,500/- (Rs. One Thousand Five Hundred only) and for NRI / Foreign National
Candidates is Rs. 3000/- (Rs. Three Thousand only).
Attach the following documents:
(a) Certified copies of mark sheet / grade sheet /
certificates and other required documents.
(b) Passport size photographs.
(c) Application fee in the form of Demand Draft in
favour of ‘Indian Institute of Crafts & Design’, Jaipur.

b. Material, Color, Conceptual Test & Personal Interview
