Applications are invited by Punjab Technical
University for admission to PhD programme in following disciplines for session
2014-15.
Civil Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Computer Science & Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Management (Business Administration)
Applied Science (Physics)
Applied Science (Chemistry)
Applied Science (Mathematics)
Life Science (Bio-Technology)
Textile Engineering
Punjabi and
English etc.
The admission is open only for those candidates who
fulfil one of the following eligibility criteria:
1. Candidates who have qualified NET / GATE / GPAT
/ SLET or equivalent test
2. Candidates who have been selected to fellowship
such as Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship awardees/teacher-fellowship holders / INSPIRE.
3. Award of fellowship by CSIR / ICAR / ICSSR /
ICHR / ICMR / DBT / DST / PTU or from any other recognized government
institution/organization.
4. SAP fellowship of UGC*
5. Project JRF/Project Assistant*
6. Candidates with UGC (Non-NET) fellowship
Admission
Criteria:
Candidates shall be short-listed on the basis of
UGC-NET / GATE / CSIR / GPAT / SLET by the PTU and thereafter interviews shall
be conducted.
