Eligibility Criteria
The admission to all the M.Tech programmes will be
regulated through GATE in the relevant branch however non GATE qualified
students may also be considered for admission, provided seats remain after
considering all the GATE qualified applicants. All those candidates who have
passed B.Tech / B.E with atleast 55% marks in aggregate, preference with valid
GATE-2014 score shall be eligible.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admissions to the M.Tech programme are normally
based on valid GATE score and Merit of average marks of 8 semesters in the
B.Tech or B.E degree. The procedure for admission in this course is given
below:
Candidates shall apply online by logging onto http://acsd.cdacmohali.in/Register.aspx
Submit the online application form; please note
that once you submit application form, you will not be able to change any
details in the form once it is locked.
Candidate can fill the branches of choice in the
order of preference. It is in the interest of the candidate to fill maximum
available choices of branches. Candidate can also alter the filled information.
To participate in counseling, candidates are
required to deposit a fee of Rs. 500/- (non refundable). The fee can be
submitted through DD in favor of Director, C-DAC, Mohali or by cash at the cash
counter of C-DAC, Mohali.
Signed photocopy of the application form, DD/ Cash
Receipt, 2 Passport size latest color photographs should be sent by post or by
hand which must reach by 17th July, 2014 positively.
Scanned copy of the application form along with DD
should be sent at m.techadmissions14@gmail.com by 15th July, 2014.
Rank shall be prepared on the merit basis as per
the eligibility criteria and seat matrix mentioned.
The merit list and seat allotment shall be uploaded
on the CDAC website.
Candidates who have been allotted seat are required
to report within the specified period (as per the counseling schedule) along
with the original documents/ testimonials/certificates and college fees as
prescribed on the website. The seats allotted are provisional and will be
confirmed only after PTU verification.
Waiting list will be prepared after the allotment
of seats in the first round of counseling.
If any candidate not present on counseling date,
his/her seat will be cancelled and offered to next candidate in the merit list.
