Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) 2015
Applications have been invited to Punjab Medical
Entrance Test (PMET) 2015 conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science
Faridkot for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses in the various Medical & Dental
Colleges of Punjab affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences,
Faridkot for Year 2015.
Eligibility Criteria:
a) Candidate must be an Indian Ciziten
b) Candidate must be 17 year of age on or before
31st December 2015
c) They should have passed in such qualifying
examination from a recognized institution in the subjects of Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English separately and should have obtained atleast 50%
marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) taken together.
Candidate must have passed in the subjects of
Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must
have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (45% for persons with locomotory
disability of lower limbs and 40% for SC/BC) taken together in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) in 10+2 examination or other
equivalent examination of 10+2
Candidate should have passed qualifying examination
as under:
a) The higher secondary examination or the Indian
School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary
Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study
comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology after the introduction of the
10+2+3 years education structure as recommended by the National Committee on
Education; OR
b) Any other exam which, in scope and standard is
found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science examination of an Indian
University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology
including a practical test in each of these subjects and English
In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS
course, it shall be necessary for the candidate to obtain minimum of 50% marks
(45% for persons with locomotory disability of lower limbs and 40% for SC/BC
categories) in PMET-2015.
Age:
For appearing in this entrance exam candidate must
have attain the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the
said age on or before 31st December 2015 where as the maximum age limit is 25
years of age as on 31st December 2015
How to
Apply:
Applications can be submitted Online at http://www.bfuhs.ac.in/pmet15online/main.htm
Rs.5000/- for General Category (Rs.2500/- for SC
categories only) be deposited in any branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce
throughout India by using Bank challan form which is generated after applying
online.
Candidate can use A4 size envelope to send printout
of application form complete in all aspects and subseqnetly the same has to be
sent to "The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq
Road, Faridkot, PIN-151203". Candidate should write "Admission Application
form for MBBS/BDS courses" on the top of the right side of the Envelope

With
late fee of Rs. 3000/-: 4th May, 2015
Last date for deposition of
application fee in any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce, through Bank
Challan form which will be generated after online submission of application
form : 7th May, 2015 upto 4:00 pm

Admit card from University website www.bfuhs.ac.in From 11th May, 2015
Date of conduct of
PMET-2015 : 17th
May, 2015 (Sunday) Timing: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Date of Result Declaration : By 21st May, 2015
