Applications have been invited by Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune for admission to various courses of Academic Year 2015-16.

               

COURSES & ELIGIBILITY:

1. M.Sc. Environment Science (affiliated to University of Pune)

Eligibility: B.Sc. (any subject except Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics), B.E. (Civil/ Chemical), B.Sc. Agriculture)

2. M.Sc. Wine, Brewing and Alcohol Technology Course (affiliated to University of Pune)

Eligibility: B.Sc. ( Wine Technology, Bio-Technology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Zoology/ PGDIFAT) OR B.E./ B.Tech. (Chemical/ Biotechnology)

3. Post Graduate Diploma Courses:

a) Sugar Technology (PGD Course):

Eligibility: B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Sugar Technology) OR B.E. (Chemical/ Agricultural Engineering) OR B.Tech. (Chemical)

b) Sugar Instrumentation Technology (PGD Course):

Eligibility: B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics) OR B.E. (Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Agricultural Engineering)

c) Industrial Fermentation & Alcohol Technology (PGD Course):

Eligibility: B.Sc. (Chemistry/ Wine Technology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Alcohol Technology) OR B.E./ B.Tech (Chemical/ Biotechnology)

d) Sugar Engineering Diploma (PGD Course):

Eligibility: B.E. Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Agricultural Engineering OR Equivalent

4. Certificate Courses:

a) Sugar Engineering Certificate Course:

Eligibility: Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering with Minimum 1 year experience in sugar factory

b) Sugar Manufacture Certificate Course:

Eligibility: B.Sc. [Bio Group] OR Diploma in Sugar Technology OR Diploma in Sugar Manufacture OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering from any recognized University/ Board  and minimum 5 years experience in sugar factory is essential

c) Sugar Boiling Certificate Course:

Eligibility: S.S.C. with minimum 2 years Experience in sugar factory

d) Juice Supervision Certificate Course:

Eligibility: S.S.C. with minimum 2 years Experience in Sugar Factory

e) ETP Operation and Maintenance Certificate Course

Eligibility: H.S.C. Science with 2 years Experience

APPLICATION FORMS:

The prescribed application form along with the prospectus may be obtained from the office of the Registrar, VSI Office, Sakhar Sankul, Agriculture College Campus, Shivajinagar, Pune - 411 005 on payment of Rs.500/- in cash at the cash counter of Accounts Branch, VSI in person or on payment of Rs.500/- by Demand Draft in favor of VASANTDADA SUGAR INSTITUTE payable at Pune on any Nationalized Bank.
