M.Ed Admission Notice 2014-2015

Applications have been invited by Bharathidasan University, Palkalaiperur Campus, Tiruchirappalli for Admission to M.Ed Distance course for the candidates who have passed B.Ed with 50% of marks from any recognized University.

Teachers/ Educational officers presently working in any Government/Government recognized school within Tamil Nadu with at least two years of Teaching experience after completion of B.Ed. are eligible for admission to this programme.

Application form along with Prospectus can be obtained in person from The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Bharathidasan University, Palkalaiperur Campus, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024, PCP centres and Application Sales Centres, by submitting D.D. for Rs.500/‐ drawn in favour of CDE, Bharathidasan University payable at Tiruchirappalli from any one of the Nationalised banks along with a requisition letter. Application forms can also be downloaded from our website www.bdu.ac.in/cde  in which case, the downloaded application should be accompanied by a D.D. for Rs.500/‐. Name and address of the candidate should be clearly indicated on the reverse side of the D.D.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have passed BEd degree in the subject concerned from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University recognised by the Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent thereto for admission with a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 2.2.

Relaxation in Marks in the qualifying examination:

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Category: The applicants in these categories need only a pass in the qualifying examination to apply for MEd programme.

SEBC Category: A relaxation of 3% marks in the qualifying examination from the prescribed minimum is allowed.

OEC Category: A relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination from the prescribed minimum is allowed.

The candidates need not give college options at the time of registration. Those who are included in the rank list can give college options at the time of Counselling. The colleges will be allotted based on the rank position and the options of the candidate. For the same reason the candidates need to submit only one application for opting any number of colleges.

A registration fee of Rs. 350/- (Rs.250/-for SC / ST candidates) shall be remitted shall be remitted either at the cash counter of the University or at Friends Janasevanakendram or by way of MG University pay in slip of A/C No. 67114059391 at State Bank of Travancore. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. The filled in application with all necessary supporting documents should reach the Office of the Deputy Registrar I(Acad), CAP Cell 2, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P.O, Kottayam - 686560. ‘Application for admission to MEd Programme 2014-15 through CAP’ should be super-scribed on the envelope containing the filled in application form and supporting documents. A self- addressed stamped envelope (Rs 5/-) shall be enclosed along with the application.

The last date for receipt of filled in application is 19th July 2014.

Applications have been invited by The University of Burdwan for admission to M.Ed course of Academic Year 2014-15.

Eligibility:

Candidates with at least 55% marks in B.Ed./B.Ed.(Sc.) examination will be eligible to apply. 5% marks are relaxable for SC, ST & PH candidates. Reservation in seats for reserved categories shall be as per Government rules.

Application Forms:

Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from the Sales Counter of the Burdwan University (not by post) on payment of Rs. 450/- in cash and on production of original / Xerox attested copy of the Marksheet of B.Ed. Examination till 06.06.2014 (between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.) on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and University Holidays
