How to
Apply:
To apply for any of the programmes listed above*,
eligible candidates must download and
print the application form available on our
website, and
Send the
completed form along with two recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form
and one attached by clip to the form), with
photocopies of all marksheets and certificates
(see List of Enclosures)
a crossed
Demand Draft for Rs.2,500/- (General) and Rs.1,500/- (SC/ST) candidates
(non-refundable) in favour of “Birla Institute of
Technology”, payable at Ranchi, in a A4
size envelope by appropriate means well in advance
of the due date (preferably by means
of which e-tracking is possible)
Send to the
office of* Dean, Admission & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of
Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215 positively by
the due date. Write “Application for
PG 2014 on the envelope”.
Applications
reaching us after the due date are liable to be rejected / may not be
processed.
*Except for the programmes at S.No. 11 & 12,
please see separate notification on our
website http://www.bitmesra.ac.in at end of April /
early May.
Notes:
1. You may use one application form to apply for
ONLY one programme – M.E. or M.Pharm or
M.Tech or MUP or M.Sc. etc, and ONLY one discipline
within that programme - for example
only M.E. in Mechanical or only M.Tech in Computer
Science & Engineering or only M.Sc. in
Bioinformatics.
However, one application form can be used to apply
for various specializations within some
M.E. programmes (within a department) and within
the M.Pharm programme, and in the
case of ME (ECE- Wireless Communication), M.Tech
(CSE) and M.Tech (Biotechnology)
programmes, you may also use one application form
to apply for different Places for Study,
in order of preference.
2. Please use separate application form(s) to apply
for two or more programmes
3. All candidates in their own interest should keep
photocopies of their completed forms for
their own reference.
