Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for taking admission to the MBA programme through MAT-RTOU shall be as under:
i) Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for the general category candidates and 45% marks for the reserve category candidates i.e.SC/ST class candidates (as declared by the State Govt. from time to time) Or
Bachelor degree with 3 years of Supervisory/ Managerial/ Professional/ Working Experience.
ii) Clearance of MAT-RTOU Exam conducted by U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad (Clearance means securing 40% marks in MAT-RTOU)

However the candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance tests conducted by IGNOU (OPENMAT)/ CAT/ MAT/ Uttar Pradesh State Level Test like UPMCAT or so, need not to appear in MAT-RTOU and their scores shall be valid up to one year to take admission to MBA programme of UPRTOU.

The Fee of the MAT-RTOU July 2011 is Rs 500/= ( Rs. Five Hundred Only) which has to be deposited through Bank Demand Draft from any nationalized Bank in favour of The Finance Officer, UPRTOU, payable at Allahabad and to be enclosed with MAT-RTOU- July 2011 application form.

However The Candidates who want to take admission to MBA programme through other scores like OPENMAT/CAT/MAT etc. have to pay fee of Rs. 300=00 through same mode along with MAT-RTOU form.

Eligibility:
Eligibility for admission to MBA should have a pass in BA, BSc, BCom with 50% marks in aggregate, in part III and for all other degrees, 50% in aggregate to be approved by the University of Kerala.


Selection procedure
1. MAT Score in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association (80% weightage) during Sept 2010, Dec 2010, Feb 2011, and May 2011.
2. Group Discussion - All candidates satisfying the eligibility condition will be called for a group discussion conducted by the college. (10% weightage)
3. Personal Interview – The group discussion is followed by personal interview by a panel of experts to assess the candidate’s communication skills, personality traits and overall suitability for a managerial career. (10% weightage)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
1. Must have completed at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Programme in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities /UGC/AICTE .
2. They should have a valid MAT Score.
3. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in the degree examination is 50% for General candidates and 45% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST.
4. Foreign candidates (including INRI) having equivalent qualification as mentioned above may be considered for admission to the programme against supernumerary seats

Candidates who are appearing for the final year Degree examination in April-May 2011 are also eligible to apply for MBA programme, however, if selected, their admission will be subject to submission of their provisional result showing an aggregate % latest by August, 2011 failing which their provisional admission shall stand cancelled automatically and the fees paid will be refunded after deducting necessary processing fees.

Candidates seeking admission under reserved categories or against supernumerary seats shall have to submit necessary documents from the appropriate authority as required by Nagaland University of their claim for reservation/supernumerary seats.

Candidates appearing for MAT exams on 1st May 2011 need not wait for the result to be declared. They can submit the filled up forms along with all the documents except the MAT score card/result which can be submitted immediately after the declaration of MAT result.

Candidates can directly download the form and submit the filled up form along with the application/registration fee in the form of a demand draft(SBI) in favour of "Nagaland University" payable at Lumami. (Rs.500/- for the General candidates and Rs.400/- for ST/SC)
