Educational Qualification :-

Masters of equivalent degree of a University recognized by AIU in the relevant/allied subject, with a minimum of 55% marks for general/OBC and 50% for SC/ST and Handicapped candidates.

A candidate can also apply for the Test under RA (Result Awaited) Category, if he/she is appearing at or has appeared in the final year, (IV) semester where semester system is operational or Masters or equivalent degree examination during the session. However, such candidates will have to submit the proof of having passed the Master?s degree examination in the relevant or related subject with the requisite percentage of marks within fifteen days of the publication of the result of post graduate examination of the candidate. The result of such candidates will be published only thereafter.

How to get application form:

Fees should be submitted with application form in form of Demand Draft in favour of the Regisrar, Vinoba Bhave University payable at Hazaribag.

The application form, duly completed with requisite enclosures should be submitted to Respective HODs, Vinoba Bhave University, Sindoor, Hazaribag-825301 by hand or by speed post so as to reach on or before 23rd August, 2014 (at 4.00 PM.)

Enclosures required with the application form :

(A) Two stamp size coloured photographs (one pasted on the application form and signed across by the candidate and another to be pasted on the space provided the Hall ticket/Admit Card.

(B) In case of physically or visually handicapped or SC/ST candidates, attested copy of SC/ST/PH/VH certificate in the form be enclosed.

(C) Self address envelope affixed with stamp of requisite denomination.

Faculty of Pharmacy:

MPharm degree or a Master’s degree in Pharmacy considered as equivalent by RUHS. Such candidates must have obtained at least 55% marks in BPharm or MPharm. A relaxation of 5% marks at PG level to the SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates shall be given.

Candidate who has appeared for master’s degree program and whose result is awaited can also apply for RUHS PhD Admission Test-2014. Such candidate shall be permitted provisionally to appear at RUHS PhD Admission Test-2014. A candidate must qualify the master’s degree program so as to submit the marks statement of the same before the interview board during its meeting.

CAT 2014 ELIGIBILITY:

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category)], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor?s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor?s degree. In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate's CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. 

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.  If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2015 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2015) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor?s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs.

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES & REGISTRATION

The registration fee is Rs.1600/- for Genral and NC-OBC candidates and Rs.800/- for SC/ST/PWD(DA) candidates, which is to be paid online at the time of registration.

The registration window will be opened from August 6, 2014 to 30 September 2014.
