Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal was created in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Its mission is to provide quality science education to UG and PG students. The prime focus is to integrate science education and research with a motive of attracting bright students and world class faculty. The Institute is committed to impart high moral and ethical values and create concern for social and environment awareness.
Admission to Ph.D. programme 2009-2010
Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the semester commencing from December 2009 in the following programmes
Areas: Biology (Biophysics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology), Chemistry (Theoretical/Computational; Physical and Inorganic Chemistry)
Minimum: M.Sc degree in respective and allied areas (55% marks)
Qualification with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT
Fellowships: Financial aid (assistantship/scholarship) is provided fro Ph.D. programme
Reservation: Reservation will be according to central government norms
