Kerala State TTC admission 2011

Kerala State TTC admission 2011 Applications have been invited by the State of Kerala for admission to the Teachers Training Courses in the following Institutions for the Academic Year 2011-12: (i) Govt & Aided TTC (ii) Unaided TTC a) Eligibility (Common for both admissions): Candidates seeking admission should be a pass in Pre- Degree/Plus Two with minimum 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala. Candidates should have passed the course within three chances. Other backward classes will get 2% relaxation in the qualifying course. For SC/ST, there is no limitation for marks & chance. Those who are appearing for the final year exam can also apply, provided they have to submit the marklist to the concerned educational Deputy Director attested by Gazetted Officer within 7 days after the decleration of the result. Applicants must be in the age group of 17 to 33. Relaxation of 5 years is allowed for SC/ST and 3 years for other backward classes. The ex-servicemen will get the relaxation equivalent to duration of the service. The recognized teachers will also get relaxation equal to the period of their service. Admission is reserved so as 40% seats for science group students, 40% for humanities and 20% for commerce group. For Lakshadeep candidates 5 seat each for boys and girls in Kozhikode TTI. Two seats in each revenue districts for wives or unmarried children of Jawans 3% and seats are reserved for handicapped candidates including blind. In sports quota one seat each in all the TTI in the State is reserved for sports stars. The application must be submitted through sports council. NCC cadets will get 10 marks weightage. Certificate from NCC Directorate must be produced. Preferance will be given to the candidates awarded with Rajyapuraskar /Rashtrapathipuraskar.In the Tamil TTIs, all the 10% seats are reserved for the candidates from Tamilnadu. b) Application & Admission to Govt & Aided TTC: A candidate can send application to one district only. Admission is based on the marks in the qualifying exam (80%), interview (10%), & sports, games, youth festival-10%(national/state/district/sub-district level). Interview is conducted from the list prepared on the basis of the reservation rule. The model of the application form and more details are available from office of the District Deputy Director directly. Court fee stamp of Rs.5/- is to be pasted in the direct format of the application, or treasury Chelan receipt of Rs.5/- in the amount head of '0202-01 general education 102-06' must be attached with the form. SC/ST Candidates need not pay fees. A gazetted officer must attach certificate with the application. The application must be submitted to the Deputy Director of Education of the District in which admission is sought for. To get admission in the management quota, application must be sent directly or by post to the manager concerned. One copy of the application must be given to the Deputy Director of Education. Application must be submitted to the manager concerned for admission in open merit in the minority TTIs.A copy must be given to the deputy director concerned. Application should be given to the Deputy Director of Kasargod district to get admission in Kannada TTI. The students seeking admission in Tamil TTIs must apply to Deputy Directors in the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki& Palakkad. Last date for submission of application is 7.5.2011. c) Application & Admission to Unaided TTC: Of the total 50 seats allotted, admission to 50 % seats will be on open merit basis and the rest 50% will be on management quota basis. Admission to the management seats is based on the marks in the qualifying exam (65%) and interview (35%). The model of the application form and more details are available from office of the District Deputy Director directly. SC/ST Candidates need not pay fees. Applications must be accompanied with a Demand Draft for Rs.100/- in favour of District Deputy Director of the District in which admission is sought for and to be send to the same address. Application for management seats must be submitted to the manager of the Institution concerned with a Demand Draft for Rs.100/- in favour of the respective managers of the institution in which admission is sought for.
