Molecular Modeling, Computational Chemistry and Biology
Synthetic Organic Chemistry
Structure, Reactivity and Bonding in Solid State
Bioinorganic/physical organic chemistry
Asymmetric synthesis
Methodology development for C-H activation and its application in the synthesis of natural products
Molecular Nanomagnets, Polyoxometalates and Functional Metal-Organic Frameworks for Gas Storage and Catalysis
Nanomaterials, Polymers, Self-assembling molecules
Ab initio theory of materials - electronic and structural phase transitions, ferroelectrics and multi-ferroics, excited state phenomena in energy materials
Eligibility:
Students qualified in CSIR-UGC NET / GATE / INSPIRE or any other fellowship recognized by Govt. of India can apply.
Age limit:
The applicant should not have completed 28 years on 1st August 2011. Age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC / ST / PH candidates
