All India Children’s Educational Audio Video Festival (AICEAVF) during February 1-3, 2012

Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) organizes annual All India Children’s Educational Audio Video Festival (AICEAVF) during February 1-3, 2012 to provide opportunity to producers of educational audio-video programmes to showcase their creative work and to share their experiences of making educational programmes with each other.

Criteria for selection:

I. The Audio and Video programmes that are produced from November 1, 2010 to October 31, 2011 are eligible for entry.

II. Audio / Video Programmes submitted to AICEAVF - 2012 must be suitable for children aged between 5 and 18 or for teachers of these children in any of the following age group.
1. Preprimary
2. Primary
3. Upper Primary
4. Secondary and Senior Secondary
5. Teachers
6. Student Production
7. Animation / Puppetry


III. Programme content should be creative, have broad appeal and demonstrate excellent artistic and technical skills.

IV. Content should speak to and respect children of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

V. Under Student Production, only the programmes made by school students i.e. students enrolled in school in any class up to Class XII will be eligible. Each entry should be accompanied by a certificate issued by the Head of the Institution, certifying that the programme has been produced by the student, from his / her institution.

VI. Duration of the programme (audio or video ) shall not exceed 30 minutes.

Fee for submitting a programme for consideration as part of All India Children’s Educational Audio, Video Festival (AICEAVF) is Rs. 200/- Payable at New Delhi in favour of Joint Director, CIET, NCERT (Exempted for Student Entries).

Duly filled Entry Form (one entry form for each audio or video programme separately) should be submitted to the festival coordinator, Video Production Division, CIET, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016 along with all relevant documents.

Last Date for submitting the entry: 16th December, 2011.
