Anaesthesia (Neuro Anaesthesia)       -           MD/DNB Anaesthesia

Critical Care Medicine **       -           MD / DNB in any clin. Subject

Diabetes both 1 year & 2 years **      -           MBBS & MD General Medicine

Infectious Disease **  -           MD / DNB General Medicine

Medical Oncology      -           MD / DNB Gen Med / Radiotherapy /Paed

Neuropathology          -           MD Pathology

Paediatric Intensive Care        -           MD / DNB Paediatrics / DCH (2 year course)

Pulmonology   -           MD / DNB Resp Med / Gen. Med

Vascular Surgery         -           MS / DNB General Sur

Accident & Emergency          -           MBBS

Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplantation   -           DM in Clinical Haematology / Med Oncol

Family Medicine         -           MBBS

General Dentistry        -           BDS

Palliative Medicine     -           MBBS / Dip / MD / DNB

Paediatric Radiology  -           MD / DNB. Preference / weightage will be given to post-degree experience

PET - CT Certificate Course   -           MD/DNB /Dip in Nuclear Med

Audio vestibular Diseases       -           MS ENT (2 years post - MS in academic ENT)

Gynaecologic Oncology         -           MD/MS OG / MS Gen Sur

Head & Neck - General, Oral and Reconstructive Surgery    -           MS / DNB General Surgery / MS/ DNB ENT(minimum 2 years post MS experience in head and neck surgery is mandatory)

Hepatic Pancreatic & Biliary Surgery -           MS / DNB General Surgery

Implant Otology         -           MS ENT (Two years post MS ENT in academic ENT / active supervised ENT practice)

Upper GI & Bariatric Surgery            -           MS / DNB General Surgery

Laboratory Haematology        -           MD Pathology

Application Forms:

Application forms can be accessed only on-line through the College website on

http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions/admin.htm  till 20th October 2012 and submitted with a basic administrative fee of Rs.1000/-. Candidates applying from SAARC countries should send Rs.2000/- or its equivalent and those from other foreign countries US dollars 100 or its equivalent.

Money can be remitted using any of the following methods:

1. Demand draft in favour of 'C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c' on any scheduled bank, payable in Vellore.

2. As a challan at no extra cost at any branch of ICICI bank in India. Please mention ‘FC - CMC - V’ on the challan.

Send the DD, original payment Challan or receipt to: Office of the Registrar, CMC, Thorapadi PO, Vellore 632002.

Important Dates:

20th Oct 2012 - Last date for access of online application forms

26th Oct 2012 - Last date for receipt of completed application forms

03rd Nov 2012 - Last date for receipt of completed sponsorship forms

24th Nov 2012 - Written test at various centres (Afternoon 2:00 pm to 3.00 pm)

30th Nov 2012 - Announcement of list of candidates who qualify for interview and practical tests (Evening)

21st Jan 2013 - Medical examination

22nd Jan 2013 - Interviews and practical tests in Town Campus, Vellore.

23rd Jan 2013 - Announcement of final selection list

24th Jan 2013 - Acceptance by 10.00 am

29th Jan 2013 - Registration for the course

29th Jan 2013 - Courses begin
