Ph.D-JRF Admission in IBSD, Imphal. DBT. Govt, of India
The Institute invites applications from post graduate candidates for admission to the PhD Drogrammein Biological Sciences starting from January 2013. IBSD is an autonomous R&D nstitute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt, of India with excellent research facilities for sustainable development of bioresources using ools of modern biology. Broad area of research at the Institute are: Plant Bioresources, /licrobial Bioresources and Animal Bioresources. Selected candidates shall be eligible for he monthly stipend and annual contingency grant which will be higher than that of normal sllowship programme.
Eligibility:
• Candidates shall be eligible for registration in an ongoing programme of research in areas listed above in IBSD leading, to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), if he/ she has obtained 55% marks in aggregate (B or B+ only in the 10 point scale) in the Master's Degree Examination.
• A candidate belonging to SC/ST who has obtained 50% marks in aggregate in Master Degree examination shall be eligible for registration.
