Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University,
Allahabad has invited applications for admission to MBA program through
entrance test, MAT-RTOU to be held on August 30, 2013 at Allahabad, Bareilly,
Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Noida & Varanasi.
The
eligibility criteria for taking admission to the MBA program through MAT-RTOU
shall be as under:
i) Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for
the general category candidates and 45% marks for the reserve category
candidates i.e.SC/ST class candidates (as declared by the State Govt. from time
to time) Or
Bachelor degree with 3 years of Supervisory/
Managerial/ Professional/ Working Experience.
ii) Clearance of MAT-RTOU Exam conducted by U P
Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad (Clearance means securing 40% marks
in MAT-RTOU)
However the candidates who have successfully
cleared the entrance tests conducted by OPENMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ Uttar Pradesh State
Level Test like UPMCAT or so, need not to appear in MAT-RTOU and their scores
shall be valid up to one year to take admission to MBA program of UPRTOU.
Though they have to deposite admission fee of Rs.300/- along with application
form to be downloaded from website http://www.uprtou.ac.in
Applications

Rs 500/= ( Rs. Five Hundred Only) has to be
deposited through Bank Demand Draft from any nationalized Bank in favour of The
Finance Officer, UPRTOU, payable at Allahabad and to be enclosed with MAT-RTOU-
July 2013 application form.
Rules for
Admission to MBA Program through MAT-RTOU
1. The admission to MBA program can be taken by
appearing in the MAT-RTOU or through scores of CAT/MAT/OPENMAT etc.
2. The eligibility criteria for taking admission to
the MBA program through MAT-RTOU shall be as under-
i. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for
the general category candidates and 45% marks for the reserve category
candidates i.e.SC/ST class candidates (as declared by the State Govt. from time
to time)

Pradesh State Level Test like UPMCAT or so, need not to appear in MAT-RTOU and
their scores shall be valid up to one year to take admission to MBA program of
UPRTOU. Though they have to deposite admission fee of Rs.300/- along with
application form to be downloaded from university website.
The Entrance test shall be conducted at following
city. The roll no shall be communicated later on to the candidates through
website/e-mail/sms/at the test venue etc.
