Directorate
of Distance Education (DDE), Dravidian University, Srinivasavanam, Kuppam,
AndhraPradesh has invited applications for admission to various courses of
Academic Year 2013-14.
COURSES & ELIGIBILITY:
UG COURSES:
1. BA:
Candidates above 18 years of age
and those who have no formal educational qualification but have passed the
Eligibility Test in any State
University.
2. B.Com (General):
Candidates above 18 years of age
and those who have no formal educational qualification but have passed the
Eligibility Test in any State
University.
3. BBM:
Intermediate (10+2) or its
equivalent course with Commerce
4. BCA:
Intermediate (10+2) or its
equivalent course with Maths
5. B.L.I.Sc:
Any Bachelor degree
6. B.Sc:
Intermediate (10+2) or its
equivalent course with concerned subjects
PG COURSES:
1. MA:
Any Bachelor Degree with a
subject concerned
2. MCA:
Any bachelor degree with Maths
3. M.Com:
Any Bachelor Degree with
Commerce
4. M.Sc:
UG Degree in concerned subject
5. MBA:
UG Degree in concerned subject
6. M.LISc:
B.L.I.Sc
PG DIPLOMA COURSES:
1. PGDCA:
Any Degree
2. PGDBA:
Any Degree
I. ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
1. Cost of Application for admission with Registration fee Rs.350/-
2. Applications can be had from:
i. DDE, Dravidian University, Kuppam
ii. Study Centres of DDE (visit www.dravidianuniversity.ac.in)
3. Last
date for receipt of filled in Application forms without fine :14-12-2013
Last
date with fine Rs.200/- : 31-12-2013
4. Filled in Applications can be sent to the following address along
with Demand Drafts and necessary enclosures (one set of Attested Photo copies)

D.D’s can be drawn in any nationalized bank in favour of the Director,
DDE, Dravidian University payable at Kuppam.
II. CONTACT CLASSES:
Contact classes will be conducted by the study centres concerned during
public holidays.
III. EXAMINATION PROCEDURE:
1. Last date for submission of Examination Applications along with
attested (Gazetted Officer) copies of all certificates (one set) without fine
15-05-2014
Last date with fine Rs.200/- : 16-05-2014 to 30-05-2014
2. Annual Examinations will be held in July 2014. Result will be
published before October, 2014.
Eligibility:
The admissions into different courses are based on
the conditions as mentioned under the heading “ Eligibility for admission”
given in table. There will be no Entrance Test for Admission into Certificate /
undergraduate – General ( pass in Intermediate/Equivalent exam ) / PG Diploma
and PG Courses – pass in relevant UG programme .DDE follows the syllabus
approved by the University.
Period of
Registration:
Candidates admitted into any course shall complete
it within 3 years after the completion of the course period with annual
extensions. The candidates admitted in to PG Diploma (1-Year) course shall
complete it within 3 years from the date of admission failing which their
admission stands cancelled. Such candidates shall seek a fresh admission again.
A Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favour of the
Director, DDE, Dravidian University, Kuppam. Candidate’s application will be
examined and if found eligible will be permitted for transfer.
Change of
Examination Centre:
If any candidate wants to Change Examination centre
with specific reasons, a request in the prescribed application should be made
to the Director, DDE with a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favour of the Director,
DDE, Dravidian University, Kuppam. Candidate’s application will be examined and
if found eligible will be permitted for transfer.
Re-
admission:
The Candidates discontinued or at default of
payment of tuition fee, during the academic year, can seek Re-admission by
submitting the application in the prescribed proforma on payment of Rs.500/-
towards registration and Re-admission.
