Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) has invited
applications for admission to Spring 2014 session.
Eligibility
Criteria:
candidates
who have completed B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch. etc., in any branch of Engineering, or
M.Tech./M.E./MCA/M.Sc. for admission into Research programs in the areas of
Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering can apply.
Applicants
must have a consistent and excellent academic record and/or demonstrable
research skills by way of good-quality publications or research-oriented
projects. Typically, the candidate is expected to satisfy one or more of the
following:
Consistent
& excellent academic record.
Good
publication especially in a reputed conference or journal.
Working in
an R&D organization / institute
Admission
Procedure:
Admission
into Research programmes for Spring 2014 will be based on the performance in
the Entrance Examination/Interview to be
held at Hyderabad.
An all-India
written exam and or interview to test the preparedness of the applicants will
be held on 3rd and 4th Dec 2013. The exam/interview will be held at Hyderabad.
The details of the exam/interview will be sent in a mail.
How To Apply
:
All
applications should be submitted through online portal. To submit the
application, a candidate has to complete two registration forms:
Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form
Filling of
Pre-Registration Form.
(online
payment is recommended)
After
filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an E-Mail which
contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a
browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration
Form.
Demand Draft
in favor of "IIIT Hyderabad" payable at "Hyderabad" for an
amount of INR 1500 should be drawn. A candidate must write application number
(received in the confirmation mail) along with the name, email id and mobile
number on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to the
Chairman, PG Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra Pradesh.
Filling of
Main Registration Form
The main
registration form can only be filled by opening the link received through the
E-Mail, after filling in the preceding pre-registration form.
You need to
have details about your high-school (10th and 12th) marks, and the academic
records for your graduate and post-graduate (if any) degrees, a passport size
photograph of size 140x160 pixels or not more than 500 kb and latest Resume
handy while filling this form. Also, the details of application fees
Credit/Debit Card or Demand Draft (DD number, amount, date) should be entered
while applying over portal.

Application
fee is INR 1500 (Non-Refundable). Payment can be done through Demand Draft and
through Credit Card/Debit Card (Visa/ Master Card).
Applicants
can apply for one or more programmes in the same form by indicating choices.
Application
fee can be paid either through Credit Card/Debit Card or through Demand Draft.
Credit Card
/Debit Card- While filling-in the Main Registration form, the candidate can opt
for Credit Card/Debit Card option follow the subsequent instruction.
Demand
Draft- While filling-in the Main Registration form, the candidate can opt for
Demand Draft option. After submitting the Main Registration form. Demand Draft
in favor of IIIT-Hyderabad for appropriate amount should be drawn. A candidate
must write application number (received in the confirmation mail) along with
the name, email id on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to
the Chairman, Research Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra
Pradesh.
