Applications are
invited from intending candidates for admission into one year M.Phil. Course (Semester
pattern) in the following subjects for the academic session 2013-14.
REGULAR COURSES:
Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Physics and Zoology having 10 seats each
including four seats under self financing mode.
SELF FINANCING
COURSES (SFC): Anthropology & Tribal Studies, Commerce, English, Education,
Political Science, History, Odia having 10 seats in each subject.
ELIGIBILITY:
Master’s Degree in the concerned subject form any recognized University with at
least 48% of marks or equivalent grade. However, Master’s in Tribal Studies/
Anthropology can apply for Anthropology & Tribal Studies. In service
candidates are required to apply through proper channel.
GENERAL
INSTRUCTIONS:
Reservation of
seats will be as per Govt. norms.
Sale
of application form will start from 06.11.2013.
The
last date of sale and submission of application form is 03.12.2013.
Application form
and Information Brochure can be obtained from the Office of the Chairman, P.G.
Council on payment of Rs.500/- by hand or on payment of Rs.550/- by post. The
application form can also be downloaded from the University website www.nou.nic.in and be submitted to the University with a bank
draft of Rs.500/-. All amount shall be paid through A/C payee Bank Draft in
favour of the Comptroller of Finance, North Orissa University, payable at
Baripada. For further information the undersigned may be contacted over
telephone 06792-255013/257246 during office hours. Completed application form
shall be submitted to the Chairman, P.G. Council, North Orissa University,
Baripada by hand or registered/speed post.
Important
Instructions:
(a) Entrance
Test Date. 06.12.2013; Time: 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM
(b) Interview on
06.12.2013 at 2.00 PM. Venue: Academic Blocks- 3, 4, 5 & 6
NB: Separate
admit card will not be sent for the entrance test.
