Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune is inviting application for admission into its M.Sc in Economics (2 years full time) for the academic year 2014-15

Eligibility Qualification

• Any graduate with exposure to Economics / Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Engineering from any statutory university

   with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC / ST categories) is eligible.

• Students appearing for final year examinations can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50%

   marks (45% for SC / ST categories) at qualifying examination.

Reservation of seats

The following will be reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian Students:

·         Scheduled Caste - 15%

·         Scheduled Tribe - 7.5% 

·         Differently abled - 3%

·         Kashmiri Migrants – 2 over and above programme intake

Intake Procedure

Students will be selected on the basis of academic merit, group discussion and personal interview.

Policy of admission against vacant seats under reserved category

     In case some seats remain vacant due to the non availability of suitable candidates in the category of reservations then

the information about the vacant seats will be reported to Symbiosis International University. With the permission of the

Vice Chancellor the seats will be converted to the general category seats and shortlisted students will be offered these seats.

Registration Instructions

To register for SSE MSc Economics program you need to have a valid SSE ID. Please follow the below mentioned steps to register. Read through the Terms and Conditions and click on the I Agree button to accept the Terms and Conditions. Fill in the details requested in the online application form under Register tab. Please do not forget to fill in the fields marked (*) as these are mandatory fields. For any clarification regarding what needs to be filled in each field, click on the How to fill the Form link at the top. Click on the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page. On the next screen, choose password, answer hint questions and click on the Submit button to register. The next screen will display your unique SSE id. After successful registration, you will get an e-mail containing your SSE id and Password. Use this SSE id for all future correspondence with Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune. Use this SSE id and password to login and make any modifications to the details in your application form. Click on 'Make Payment' option to choose your payment mode and proceed with the transaction. Click Here to view the Payment Instructions. You may pay directly through Master or Visa card online. Follow the instructions on the website after choosing the credit / debit card option.

Demand Draft :

1.Get a demand draft for Rs. 1000/-in favour of Director, Symbiosis School of Economics, payable at Pune.

Write your SSE ID and name at the backside of the DD. Choose the mode of Payment as DD in "Make Payment" Tab and click "Submit". Take a print of the payment advice form, sign & send it along with the DD to ' Symbiosis School of Economics only at,
