ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2015
K.R.Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science
& Arts is an innovative venture in professional film / audio-visual
training and a research centre of international standards established by the
Government of Kerala at Thekkumthala in Kottayam District of Kerala.
The Institute announces admissions to the Second batch
of programmes – 2015. Applications are invited for admission to the Three Year
Full-Time Diploma Programmes in:
1. Script Writing and Direction
2. Editing
3. Cinematography
4. Audiography
5. Animation and Visual Effects
6. Acting
The total number of seats will be 60 (10 each for
all the six programmes).
Eligibility
for Admission
The candidates should have passed the Plus Two
course (Higher Secondary) or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the final
examination of the Plus Two course and awaiting results can also apply subject
to production of the certificate or mark sheet of the qualifying examination at
the time of admission. The upper age limit is 40 years as on 1st June, 2015.
Selection of
Candidates
The eligible candidates have to undergo a two stage
screening- a preliminary Entrance Examination conducted at all India level
followed by an Orientation Programme-cum-Interview for the shortlisted candidates.
The entrance examination Centres will be at
Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore,
Kolkata and New Delhi.

Application
Fee
The application fee for candidates belonging to
‘General’ categories is Rs.1500/- and to those belonging to SC/ST categories is
Rs. 750/-.
The duly filled in application form along with the
prescribed application fee shall be remitted through a Demand Draft drawn from
a Nationalized bank fovouring “K.R.Narayanan National Institute of Visual
Science and Arts” payable at Thiruvananthapuram shall reach The Director,
K.R.Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science & Arts, Sreepadham,
House No. 107, Krishna Nagar, Peroorkada, Thiruvananthapuram -05, KERALA on or before 27-04-2015.
