B.TECH PROGRAMME
B.Tech programmes are of 4 year duration and are
affiliated to M.G. University, Kottayam

50% of the total seats in B Tech courses are set
apart as Govt. Quota for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations. 15% seats within the sanctioned intake is provided for NRI
category. Remaining 35% seats are Management seats allotted on merit by ranking
applicants on the basis of marks obtained for Maths , Physics and Chemistry in
12th standard and Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2014, giving 50%
weightage to each.
Eligibility
In order to become eligible for admission to B.Tech
degree programme at SCMS School of Engineering & Technology, a candidate
should have
1. 60%
marks in aggregate for Maths , Physics and Chemistry group and a minimum of 50%
separately for Maths in the qualifying examination.
2. A
valid rank in the Kerala State Engineering Entrance Examination.
3. NRI
candidates are exempted from Entrance examination.
ADMISSION
PROCESS
Separate rank lists are prepared for Management
category seats and NRI category seats on the basis of merit. The list is put up
on this website.
Admission is offered on merit in the order of rank
as per the rank list. The entire counselling schedule, as well as the details
for attending counselling, is put on this website . As per the schedule
candidates are required to come for counselling to the SCMS corporate office
situated at Muttom , North of Apollo Tyres Jn., on the side of NH 47, at
Kalamassery,Cochin on the scheduled date and time indicated in the website.
SCMS GROUP does not have any agents for admission
nor does it collect capitation fee in any manner for any of the programmes
offered by its constituent institutions
M.Tech Programme
The M.Tech Programme offered by the SCMS School of
Engineering & Technology (SSET) is approved by the AICTE and affiliated to
the M.G. University, Kottayam.
Eligibility
B.Tech./B.E. with minimum of 60% marks are eligible
to apply. Non- GATE candidates can also apply. Students having valid GATE score
will have preference over others.

affiliated to M.G. University, Kottayam.
Eligibility
The candidates shall be an Indian National.
The candidates should have studied the Graduate
course in an institution approved by the AICTE/Deemed Universities.
Candidates should have a minimum 60% aggregate
marks in the Engineering Degree examination.
Candidates must have a DTE rank . For a Director of
Technical Education (DTE) rank the candidates are required to register online
on the www.dtekerala.gov.in.
Selection
Process
From the application received at SSET , based on
the DTE ranks , a SSET ranklist will be published for admissions.

Form
Prospectus and Application Form can be purchased
from the College Campus (SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Vidya
Nagar, Karukutty, Ernakulam-683582, Kerala) and Corporate Office (SCMS Campus,
Prathap Nagar, Muttom, Aluva, Kochi--683106, Kerala). Application Form can also
be downloaded from the ‘Download’ option in this website.
Fee for the Programme
Note: Capitation in any manner is not collected for
admission at SSET for any programme.
Master of Computer Applications ( MCA )
A three year Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
programme is also offered at SSET , which is approved by the All India Council
for Technical Education and is affiliated to M.G.University, Kottayam.
Eligibility
As per Mahatma Gandhi University Norms. Selection
to MCA programme is based on an Entrance Examination conducted by the Kerala
State Entrance Commissioner CAT for MCA Institutes in Kerala.
