Eligibility:
Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0)
from a recognized university, Reservations are as per prevailing GOI norms.
Selection:
The valid GATE / NET qualified candidates only will
be selected for the full time programme. Limited research fellowships are
available under Institute fellowship, TEQIP-II fellowship and MNRE fellowship.
The candidate should have basic degree in the concern department. However, in
the Centers, since Energy Center affiliated to Mechanical Engineering,
candidate should have basic degree in Energy or Mechanical Engineering.
Similarly, in the Center of Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS, the candidate should
have basic degree in Civil Engineering or Remote Sensing and in the Nano
Science and Engineering Center the candidate should have basic degree in
Physics and Nano Technology. For MNRE scholarship, basic degree should be in
Energy.
Application:
The application form can be downloaded from the
website http://www.manit.ac.in
The application forms completed in all respects
along with the (SBI Collect receipt) non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 800/-
for General / OBC candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST candidates, should be
submitted to Assistant Registrar (Admission), MANIT, Bhopal-462051, by
30.04.2015. The payment of processing fee is to be done only through SBI online
“SBI Collect” into MANIT account. The application form can be downloaded from
MANIT website www.manit.ac.in or can be collected from admission section,
MANIT, by paying Rs. 100/- through IPO payable to ”Director, MANIT, Bhopal” or
through post by sending a self-addressed A4 size envelope with IPO of Rs. 100/-
payable to “Director, MANIT, Bhopal”
The Envelope must contain the header 'Application
form for PhD Admission in the Department / Center of
____________________________”.
