MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram has invited applications for admission to following professional courses of Academic Year 2012-13.
MTech Courses :
* MTech in Thermal Systems (ME)
* MTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
* MTech in Instrumentation and Control Systems (EEE)
* MTech in Communication Engineering & Signal processing(ECE)#
* MTech in Construction Engineering & Management(CE)#

Eligibility for Admission :
a. The candidate should be an Indian National.
b. Candidates should have studied the graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE.
c. Candidates should have a B-Tech / BE Degree in ME (for Thermal Systems) andB-Tech / BE Degree in CSE / IT (for Computer Science & Engineering) and ECE / EEE / AEI / IC / Instrumentation for Instrumentation & Control Systems awarded by any University within or outside the State of Kerala and approved by Calicut University.
d. Candidates should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient. i.e., candidates who have passed AMIE Examination (or equivalent) and satisfying the following conditions are eligible for admission :
(i) They must have valid GATE score
(ii) A minimum mark of 55% for section B in AMIE examination (or equivalent)
(iii) Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of specialisation after acquiring the qualifying degree.
e. Admission to 50% seats will be from the Rank list prepared / approved by the Director of Technical Education. Candidates who are in the rank list of DTE may submit the particulars along with the application.
f. Candidates who have appeared for the final examination may also apply provided the results are made available at the time of admission.
BTech / B.Arch Courses :
* BTech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation
* BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering
* BTech in Computer Science & Engineering
* BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
* BTech in Mechanical Engineering
* BTech in Information Technilogy
* BTech in Civil Engineering
B.Arch (Architecture) :
Candidates should have appeared for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and secured 40% marks.
MCA :
Qualification / Eligibility for admission : Bachelors Degree of 3 year duration in any discipline with Mathematics (this does not include Business Mathematics or Business Statistics) as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks scored in Mathematics and the course undergone under the regular programme recognized by the University of Calicut. 5% of relaxation in marks will be allowed in the case of SEBC candidates. For SC/ST candidates, pass minimum will be fixed as the eligibility as per Government rules. Students appearing for final examination can also apply.
MBA:
Qualification for Admission : Bachelor's degree from any of the UGC / AICTE recognized Universities including IGNOU with 50% marks. Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and other backward communities are eligible for a concession of 5% of marks in the qualifying examination according to the conditions prescribed by the Government of Kerala. Students who are appearing for Final Degree Examinations can also apply. However, the mark list has to be produced at the College Office within 10 days of Calicut University's BA / BSc result announcement. Admission is through MAT (Management Aptitude Test) conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association).
Procedure for Application :
Application Form and Information Brochure can be collected from MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, Thrikkanapuram P.O., Malappuram Dist., Kerala on payment of Rs.500/- in cash or can be downloaded from the college website. The duly completed application must be submitted along with a DD for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of the Principal, MES College of Engineering payable at Kuttippuram. Money order or cheques will not be accepted. For SC/ST candidates the amount will be Rs. 250/-.
Duly filled applications along with self attested copies of the following documents should be sent to the Principal, MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, Thrikkanapuram P.O., Malappuram Dist., Kerala, Pin: 679 573 so as to reach on the last date prescribed (by 4pm) :
a. Engineering Degree Certificate.
b. Mark lists of the qualifying examinations.
c. GATE Score Card (for candidates with valid GATE Score).
d. Community and income certificate issued by Tahasildar for candidates who claim eligibility for reservation under SC/ST quota.
f. Professional experience certificate(s) from the organization where the candidate is working/worked, in case of those who have passed AMIE or its equivalent.
g. Sponsorship letter from the employer in the case of sponsored candidates.
Candidates are advised to avail ONLINE facilities for submitting applications for BTech / B.Arch course as far as possible and to send the hard copy along with a DD for Rs. 500/- and attested copies of documents to the Principal MESCE Kuttippuram.
Last date for receipt of Applications : Within 7 days from the date of publication of HSE / CEE results.
