Candidates who qualify Entrance Test can submit the registration form (Form-2) available in the 'Student Handbook and Prospectus' along with the hall ticket of the Entrance Test, to the respective Regional Centres along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, but not later then 30th November 2015 for admission cycles starting from January 2016

II. BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed) PROGRAMME

Eligibility for Admission:

1. UGC recognized Bachelor?s degree or a higher degree with fifty (50%) percent marks from a recognized university. However, for teachers appointed prior to the commencement of NCTE Regulation, Norms and Procedures, second amendment regulation dated 30.3.2010, the requirement of 50% marks shall not apply.

2. Serving teachers with two years full time teaching experience in a Government or Government Recognized Primary/Sec/Sr. Sec School with registration number. The requisite teaching experience of 2 years must be completed on or before the last date of submission of Application as notified.

3. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer), War widows, Kashmiri migrants, Physically handicapped (Disabled) and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/State Government whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks as per GOI.

III. MASTER OF EDUCATION (M.Ed) PROGRAMME:

Eligibility for Admission:

1. B.Ed. with 55% marks.

2. Serving teachers with two years, full time teaching/professional experience after completion of B.Ed. Programme in Government/Government recognized schools/NCTE recognized Teacher Training/Research Institution of Education. The cutoff date for two years, experience will be the last date of submission of the application form to IGNOU.

3. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC(Non-creamy layer)/Disabled and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/State Government whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks as per GOI.

IV. POST BASIC B.Sc. NURSING PROGRAMME (OPENNET-IV):

Eligibility for Admission

In-service Nurses, that is Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2 with three years, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum of two years experience in the profession. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme should have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months, duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).

OR

In-service Nurses (RNRM) having 10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three year, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum of five years experience in the profession. If you are a postgraduate with consistently good performance in any academic discipline, don't miss this great opening for the Research and Teaching Assistantship (RTA) programme from IGNOU.

The RTA Scheme of IGNOU provides a unique opportunity for postgraduates to do Ml time research as part of a most rigorous and high quality Ph.D. Program along with a minimum of 8 hours/week of teaching or teaching assistance under the guidance and supervision of a senior .teacher in the various Schools/Centres/ Institutes/units. While conforming to the UGC regulations for the award of Ph. D., IGNOU sets complementary benchmarks like the development of a technology-enabled teaching module, appropriate course works and at least one original research publication in a high-impact refereed journal in the area of research.
The Research and Teaching Assistantship carries a monthly Fellowship of Rs. 18000/-(consolidated) plus HRA as per Government of India Rules. The RTA award will be initially for a period of three years, with annual review. Application form can be had from sale counter at Regional Centre, Kaloor, Cochin-682017 or IGNOU Headquarter & SOSW at Maidan Garni New Delhi by paying cash Rs.500/-.

Application forms can also be downloaded from IGNOU website: www.ignou.ac.in . and candidates should attach a DD of Rs. 500 drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi along with the downloaded application form.

Applications can also be obtained by post by sending a DD for Rs.550/- draw in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. Applications requesting for prospectus by post should address the same to Director, School of Social Work, Zakir Hussain Block G, Room No. 114, IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.

Cost of prospectus Rs. 100/- by cash at the sale counter at Maidan Garhi and Regional Centres of Delhi only and Rs. 150 by post. In case where the form has been downloaded from the website, a demand draft of Rs. 150/- may be drawn in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi has to be sent along with the Application Form. The School of Extension and Development Studies (SOEDS) under IGNOU University has invited applications for admission to Master of Arts in Extension and Development Studies (MAEDS) On Campus Full Time Programme course of Year 2011.

Eligibility: Any graduate
Duration: Minimum - 2 Years & Maximum - 5 Years
Medium: English
Fee: Rs. 2500/- per semester (Total Rs. 10000/- for four semesters)
Intake: 20 students will be admitted in June 2011 batch. The reservation of seats for SC / ST / OBC and other categories will be as per University rules.
Mode of Admission: On marks basis and interview, if required. Interview will be held at IGNOU, New Delhi.

Enterpreneurship Development Program

SVPISTM is the nodal centre for an Open Learning Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship. To address the need of developing dynamic and motivated entrepreneurs, in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Friedrich – Naumann, Stiftung, Germany and National Science and technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, the Institute has taken upon itself the responsibility of fulfilling the instructional and motivational needs of aspiring entrepreneurs.

Nodal Center for Upgradation of Textile Education (NCUTE)

NCUTE was established on March 31, 1998 by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India at IIT, Delhi with the broad objective of enhancing textile industries performance through improved manpower training requirement, meet the challenges of emerging technology and quality of input, and to establish a dynamic system for reform of textile education in the country to meet with international standards and market demands. The Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, has transferred NCUTE to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore with the mandate to implement the schemes and take it forward in future..
