The RTA Scheme of IGNOU provides a unique opportunity for postgraduates to do Ml time research as part of a most rigorous and high quality Ph.D. Program along with a minimum of 8 hours/week of teaching or teaching assistance under the guidance and supervision of a senior .teacher in the various Schools/Centres/ Institutes/units. While conforming to the UGC regulations for the award of Ph. D., IGNOU sets complementary benchmarks like the development of a technology-enabled teaching module, appropriate course works and at least one original research publication in a high-impact refereed journal in the area of research.
The Research and Teaching Assistantship carries a monthly Fellowship of Rs. 18000/-(consolidated) plus HRA as per Government of India Rules. The RTA award will be initially for a period of three years, with annual review. From 3rt year onwards, depending upon excellence in progress and performance, the Monthly Fellowship will be enhanced to Rs. 20000/-. There will also be an annual contingent grant of Rs. 20000/-.
Candidates with First Class (above 60% aggregate) in all examinations and below 25 years of age as on 30th September 2011 (relaxable by 5 years for women candidates and SC/ST/PH) who have an aptitude for teaching and full time research leading to Ph.D. degree may apply in the format given below:

I've Just Completed My MCA From RTU in June 2011.
My Final Mark-sheet is Still Pending.
Can I Send Provisional Mark-sheet of final Semester?
Original will come after one month.
What Documents are Required for Submit.
