The Master of Education (M.Ed) Programme launched by IGNOU through distance mode is an innovative professional development programme. LOCATION
The Institute is located at Chittoor which is a busy and self-contained town 30 Kms. north of Vellore and 50 Kms. west of Tirupati in Andhra pradesh. Those who come by train either from Madras or Bangalore should get down at Katpadi Railway Station and take a bus to Chittoor (every 10 minutes, there is a bus from Vellore to Chittoor). In fact, the Vellore- Chittoor bus goes via Katpadi Railway Station.

Those who come by train from North should get down at Tiruttani Railway Station and take a bus to Chittoor (every 30 minutes, there is bus from Tiruttani to Chittoor).
