Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, has invited applications for admission to Three Year Post Graduate Course of Diploma in Cinema (Full Time) in (i) Direction & Screenplay Writing (ii) Cinematography (iii) Editing and (iv) Audiography, for the session 2009-12.
Eligibility for Admissions:
Direction & Screenplay Writing, Cinematography, Editing: Applicant should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University under the 10+2+3 pattern.
Audiography: Applicant should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University under the 10+2+3 pattern. Physics at 10+2 level is desirable.
The medium of instruction will be English. There are 40 seats in all with 10 per discipline. Reservation will be as per rules.The Admission process includes a Written Examination to be held at Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, Patna, Lucknow, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Thiruvanthapuram, Hyderabad, Raipur and Silliguri on 19th July 2009 to be followed by an Interactive Orientation Test & Panel Interview for the selected candidates to be held at SRFTI in September 2009.
Prospectus with Application Form may be obtained in person from the Tutorial Section of the Institute on working days, between 11 am and 4 pm, on payment of Rs. 250/- by cash.
They can be obtained by Post from SRFTI, by sending a request to reach 'Admissions 09, Director, Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, E.M. Bypass Road, Kolkata 700094', latest by 27th May, 2009 along with a Crossed Demand Draft for the amount specified.
Completed Application Form must reach 'Admissions 09, Director, Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, E.M. Bypass Road, Kolkata 700094', along with Processing Fee of Rs. 1,250/- by crossed Demand Draft, latest by 6th June 2009.
Application Form may also be downloaded from www.srfti.gov.in and filled up and sent by Post along with a processing fee of Rs.1,500/- by way of a Crossed Demand Draft to reach 'Admissions 09, Director, Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, E.M. Bypass Road, Kolkata 700094' by the date stipulated.
All Demand Drafts must be drawn in favour of 'Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata', and payable at Kolkata.
