The Indian Law Institute, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi-110001 has invited applications for admission to the LL.M/PG Diploma/Ph.D Programmes for 2009-10.

For admission to Ph.D. in Law, applicants should have LL.M with 55% marks. For admission to the LL.M (day classes, full time, 2 years) and LL.M (evening classes, 3 years) Programmes, applicant should have LL.B. Degree with not less than 50% marks.

P.G. Diploma Courses are available in

(i) Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
(ii) Corporate Laws and Management
(iii) Cyber Law
(iv) Drafting of Legislation, Treaties and Agreements
(v) Human Rights Law
(vi) Intellectual Property Rights Laws
(vii) International Trade Law
(viii) Labour Law
(ix) Securities & Banking Laws
(x) Tax Law

Minimum qualification for admission to the P.G. Diploma Courses except for Labour Law is a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. The minimum requirement for admission to the P.G. Diploma Course in Labour Law is a Law Degree or M.A. in Social Sciences (IInd Division).

Those appearing in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply but their admission will be subject to production of proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualification, at the time of admission. Candidates who have passed or appeared in the 4th year examination of LL.B. (five year course) from a recognised Institute/University are also eligible for admission to Post Graduate Diploma Courses (except for Labour Law). Five seats each are reserved for these students.

Prospectus containing the Application from can be obtained by Post from the Institute by sending Rs 250/- by way of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Indian Law Institute payable at New Delhi, along with a self- addressed envelope of size 24 cm x 30 cm.

The last date for receipt of filled in applications is 8.6.2009 for LL.M Programme and 3.7.2009 for PG Diploma/Ph.D Programmes
