Sainik School, Amaravatinagar, has invited applications from boys for admission to Class VI and Class IX, for 2010-11.

Applicants for admission to Class VI should not have been born before 2nd July, 1999 and after 1st July, 2000.

Those seeking admission to Class IX, should not have been born before 2nd July, 1996 and after 1st July, 1997 and should be studying in Class VIII or IX in a recognised school.

All India Entrance Examination for admission to VI and IX standards will be held on 3rd January, 2010 (Sunday).

Application forms can be obtained on payment of Rs.385/- for Defence and General Applicants and Rs.285/- for SC/ST applicants (inclusive of Registration Fee and cost of old question paper and postal charges), by way of a Demand Draft taken in favour of 'Principal, Sainik School, Amaravatinagar', payable at SBI Amaravatinagar (Code 2191).

The request should show the name of the boy and the class to which admission is sought (VI/IX) and should be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of size 25 cm x 20 cm.

Application is available for sale at the school also.

Last date for receipt of filled in Application is 10th December, 2009.
