MBA ADMISSIONS 2010-2012

Tezpur University, a Central University, has invited applications for admission to its two-year full time Master of Business Administration Programme for 2010.

Applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent Grade in aggregate or in a major subject from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/Institution. Those in the final year of their Degree Courses and expecting results by October 31, 2010 may also apply.

Applicant should appear either for the Common Admission Test (CAT) of the IIMs during November 28 and December 7, 2009 or for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) of the AIMA to be held on 6.12.09. No other MAT score will be accepted. Tezpur University should have been included by the applicant as a choice in their CAT Voucher/Tezpur University should be given as a choice by the applicant in his/her MAT Application form.

Tezpur University Application form is to be submitted to the University along with proof of having applied for CAT/MAT. Short listed applicants based on CAT/MAT score will have to appear for Group discussion and Personal interview at Tezpur University. Reservation of seats and relaxation in marks will be as per Government of India Rules.

Texpur University Application form along with Prospectus can be obtained from designated branches of Axis Bank at Agartala, Aizwal, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Hyderabd, Imphal, Itanagar, Jorhat, Kohima, Kolkata, Nagaon, New Delhi (Hauz Khas, Lajpat Nagar), North Lakhimpur, Guwahati (Paltan Bazaar), Pune, Shillong, Silchar, Tezpur and Tinsukha by paying Rs.720/- (Rs.370/- for SC/ST) in cash.

Application form along with Prospectus can be obtained from Controller of Examinations, Tezpur University, (PO) Napaam, Sonitpur District, Tezpur, Assam-784028, by sending a request along with a Bank Draft for Rs.760/- (Rs. 410/- for SC/ST), drawn in favour of the 'Registrar, Tezpur University', payable at Tezpur and self-a addressed unstamped envelope of size 30 cm x 25 cm.

Application can also be downloaded from www.tezu.ernet.in  and submitted with a Bank Draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of the 'Registrar, Tezpur University', payable at Tezpur.

Last date for issue and Receipt of Tezpur University Application form is 12th December, 2009.

Application forms for MAT applicants alone will be available from 11.12.2009 with a late fee of Rs.200/-. Last date for receipt of filled up applications in such cases will be 15.1.2010.
