One year, Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates for the year 2010 (OCES-2010)
Two year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS-2010) for Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates in Physics for joining M Tech Courses
 
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Training Schools under the Department of Atomic Energy, has invited applications from young Engineering Graduates/Science Post Graduates who would like to take part in design, construction, operation and maintenance of Nuclear Reactors and associated fuel cycle facilities or participate in Engineering Developments in Nuclear Science& Technology, or who would enjoy pursuing front ranking Programmes in Basic research in Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Geophysics or Biosciences, for admission to the One year, Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates for the year 2010 (OCES-2010) starting in September 2010 at BARC Training Schools at BARC  Mumbai, IGCAR Kalpakam, RRCAT Indore, NFC Hyderabad, Nuclear Training Centres Kaiga, Kalpakam, Kundankulam, Rawatbhata and Tarapur and AMD Hyderabd .

Applications are  also invited for the Two year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS-2010) for Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates in Physics for joining M Tech Courses in specified specializations starting in July 2010 at IIT- Bombay, Delhi Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Rourkhee and NIT-Rourkela. On successful completion of training, students will be appointed as Scientific Officers in any of the DAE Units or AERB, with opportunities for attractive career progression.

Students could also earn credits towards MTech/ M.Phil/ Ph.D of HBNI provided the performance is above specified standard. DGFS Fellows will get opportunities for doing Ph.D through HBNI.

Qualifying Degree and Disciplines include BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation and Engineering Physics, M.Sc in Physics, Electronics, Chemistry, Geophysics, Geology and Biosciences.

A minimum of 60% is required in the qualifying Degree/PG Degree. Science Applicants need to have secured 60% in B.Sc also. The Screening for Science disciplines will be based on a written test to be conducted on 28th February, 2010 (Sunday) or valid GATE score. Screening for engineering disciplines will be based on valid GATE score or a written test to be conducted on May 23, 2010 (Sunday). Last date for application for written test in Science discipline is 15.1.2010 and that for Written Test in Engineering disciplines is 15.4.2010. The last date for application based on GATE for Science as well as Engineering disciplines is 15.4.2010.

The selection process would also be used for selecting candidates for research based academic programmes of HBNI and for Diploma in Radiological Physics programme of HBNI.
