Candidates with Master's Degree of any recognised University/Higher Learning Institution in the relevant discipline or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in such fields of study are eligible to apply. Admissions are purely based on Entrance examination to be conducted by IGNOU in the pattern of UGC/CSIR.
Candidates holding an M.Phil. Degree or those candidates who have cleared JEST of DAE, or UGC-NET, or GATE of IIT, or those having five years of relevant teaching/ practical/industry/professional experience will be exempted from appearing at the Entrance Examination.

Filled in applications are to be submitted to The Director, Research Unit, Room No. 12, Block 6, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068
All application forms have to be attached by a Demand Draft of Rs 750/- taken in favour of "The Director, Research Unit, IGNOU", payable at New Delhi.
