Admissions to all the following courses are based on merit and the performance of the candidates in the computer based online test and/or written test, group discussions and interviews. Candidates having a minimum aggregate of 60% in the qualifying degree examination specified against the courses mentioned below are eligible for admission.
1. M.E. (Biotechnology) : Any integrated first degree of BITS or its equivalent with adequate preparation in Bio-chemistry and Microbiology can apply.
2. M.E. (Chemical, Chemical (with specialization in Petroleum Engineering), Civil (with specialization in Structural Engineering/ Transportation Engineering/ Infrastructure Systems), Mechanical) : Any Integrated first degree of BITS in the same discipline or its equivalent are eligible to apply.
3. M.E. (Communication Engineering, Computer Science) : Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation or its equivalent can apply.
4. M.E.(Design Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering): Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Mechanical or its equivalent or M.Sc. (Tech.) Engineering Technology of BITS or its equivalent with the requirement of taking certain additional courses.
5. M.E.embedded Systems): Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science or its equivalent.
6. M.E.Electrical (with specialization in Power Electronics & Drives) : Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation or its equivalent.
7. M.E.Microelectronics: Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Physics or its equivalent.
8. M.E.Software Systems: Any Integrated first degree of BITS or its equivalent with specific prior preparation.
9. M. Pharm: Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Pharmacy or its equivalent.
10.M.Pharm: (with specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutics): Any Integrated first degree of BITS in Pharmacy or its equivalent.
11.MBA (Engineering & Technology Management, ITES Management): Any Integrated first degree of BITS or B.E./B.Tech in Engineering disciplines from other recognized universities with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
Eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed application form available online at www.bitsadmission.com/hd/ and take the printout of the filled form.
Completed Application form along with prescribed fee for Rs.1500/- by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Technology & Science payable at State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) -Pilani (Code: 10398) or UCO Bank-Pilani (Code: 0150) or SBI-Pilani (Code: 11309) or ICICI Bank- Jhunjhunu (Code: 0799), has to reach the Admissions Office, BITS, Pilani by 5.00 P.M., 31st May 2010.
