MIT Institute of Design, Loni-Kalbhor, Pune-412201 has announced its admission criteria to the following programmes of Academic Year 2012:
A. Graduate Diploma Programme (GDP) Duration 4 ½ years: Disciplines Offered : Product Design, Transportation Design, Interior Space & Equipment Design, Graphic Design, Retail and Exhibition Design, Animation Design, Film and Video Design.
B. Post Graduate Diploma Programme (PGDP) Duration 2 ½ years: Disciplines Offered : Product Design, Transportation Design, Interior Space & Equipment Design, Graphic Design, Retail and Exhibition Design, Animation Design, Film and Video Design, User Experience Design.
C. COLLABORATIVE PROGRAMME’S : Undergraduate Programme’s (2+2 years):
Animation (In Collaboration with University of Dundee, Scotland)
Computer Arts for Gaming (In Collaboration with Abertay University, Dundee Scotland)
Post Graduate Programme (1+1 years):
Animation (In Collaboration with University of Dundee, Scotland)
Computer Arts for Gaming (Abertay University, Scotland)
Product Design + Design Ethnography (University of Dundee, Scotland)
ELIGIBILITY :
1. Graduate Diploma Programme: 10+2 any stream.
2. Post Graduate Diploma Programme: Graduate in any Disciplines 10+2+3 (minimum).
ADMISSION:
The admission process is in two phases :
* MITID-DAT Design Aptitude Test conducted at various centers across the country.
* Studio Test and Personal Interview at MITID™ campus in pune.
Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be conducted on April 2012 between 10 AM to 1 PM at 7 centres — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
APPLICATION FORM : Application forms for the ensuing academic year will be available on the website link: http://www.mitid.edu.in/admissions.html from November 2011. The candidate has to download the application form from the said website link and submit a dully filled hard copy of the same to MIT Institute of Design, Loni-Kalbhor, Pune-412201 before the last date along with a demand draft of Rs. 2,000 /- or U.S. $45 in favour of “MAEER PUNE’s MIT INSTITUTE OF DESIGN” drawn on Pune branch as fees for Design Aptitude Test.
Last date for submission of application form is 31st Jan 2012.
