Common Entrance Test 2012 (B.Design, BSc Jewelry Design, PG DIPLOMA)
SNDT Women's University, Mumbai will be conducting the Common Entrance Test 2012 on 27th May, 2012 (Sunday) for admission to the following courses of Academic Year 2012 in its affiliated colleges and departments:
1. B.Design (Fashion Design / Fashion Communication / Lifestyle & Textile Design)
2. BSc Jewelry Design
3. PG DIPLOMA (Fashion Design / Fashion Retail Management / Apparel Manufacturing & Merchandising)
Entrance Examination will be conducted in the cities: Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Noida, Varanasi, Delhi, Patna, Lucknow and Kolkata.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & RESERVATION:
Admission to the courses based on the proportion of marks as follows:
CET – 60%, Qualifying Exam - 20%, Portfolio and Interview - 20%.
Bachelor Programmes:
Candidates applying for the Bachelor Programmes should have any of the following educational criteria:
(i) The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central / State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi OR
(ii) Any recognized Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in Foreign countries equivalent to 10+2 system (Approved by AIU, New Delhi) OR
(iii) A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
PG Diploma Programmes:
Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree from a recognized Indian University in any discipline / Bachelor's degree of any foreign university (Approved by AIU, New Delhi).

Candidates have to visit : http://www.sndtcet.in for applying online.
Prior to filling the application, candidates have to obtain a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of "Registrar SNDT Women's University", Payable at Mumbai. The candidates belonging to Maharashtra & following categories i.e. SC / ST / NT / OBC / SCB are required to pay a draft of Rs. 500/- with the recent official cast proof for appearing CET examination.
On successful submission of online application form, a unique auto generated Application Form Number will be allotted which will appear on print version of the application form.
After taking the print out, affix a passport size photograph in the space provided and attach the demand draft of requisite amount. The application forms must be sent to "B.Design Department, Shree Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic, SNDT Women's University, Mumbai-400 049".
Last date for submission of completed forms is 22nd May, 2012.
