UP State Entrance Examination 2012 (UPSEE-2012)
Goutam Buddh Technical University has invited applications for UP State Entrance Examination (UPSEE-2012) to be held on 22nd April, 2012 for admission to the following courses in the degree level engineering institutions and management and other professional colleges of UP State:
(i) 4 year BTech / BTech (Ag. Engg.)/ Bio Technology) Course
(ii) 4 year BPharm Course
(iii) 5 year BArch Course
(iv) 4 year BFAD Course
(v) 2 year MBA Course
(vi) 3 year MCA Course
(vii) 4 year BHMCT Course
ELIGIBILITY:
(I) For admission to first year BTech / BPharm / BHMCT / BFAD, candidates must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category candidates) in total of required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject.
(II) For admission to first year of BArch, a candidate must have clearly passed with out grace, intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST) and (ii) clearly passed with out grace, each compulsory and optional subjects.
A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of BArch only, provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of BArch Paper 4.
(III) For admission to first year MBA in any institution affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years or more duration from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent recognized by AIU, securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
(IV) For admission to first year MCA in any institution affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years or more duration from any recognized University or its equivalent, securing minimum 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Bachelor degree level.
PURCHASE AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS :
OMR application form with Information Brochure can be purchased till 20th March 2012 from Head Post Offices & Mukhya Dak Ghar of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can fill-up the Online application form by loging on to: http://upsee.nic.in and www.uptu.ac.in till 22 March, 2012 (midnight).
After submitting the Online application form, the candidate should take printout of the completed application form. The candidate should retain his/her copy and while the other copy affixed with photograph and signature should be posted along with bank challan duely verified by the bank for having deposited the fee as applicable.
The cost of Information Brochure and OMR Application form inclusive of entrance Examination Fee for UPSEE- 2012 or Online application submission, is Rs. 1000/- for General & OBC Category and Rs. 500/- for females of all Categories and SC/ST categories for all courses.
The completed application form should be sent to The Registrar (UPSEE-2012), Gautam Buddh Technical University, IET Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow - 226021 (UP) so as to reach on or before 24 March, 2012.
