The candidates selected will have hands on experience of HPLC and LC-MS/MS. The course consists of formal lectures including basic pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, basic biostatistics, various aspects of HPLC, protocol writing and some genetics. There will be seminars and journal clubs. The chosen candidates will be part of the working laboratory and gain hands on experience in the development, validation and running of assays. In the second year a project will be undertaken. The exit exam will be conducted at CMC with external examiners and upon successful  completion of the course a certificate will be awarded.
