Instructions for
filling in the application form
1.
The online application form can be uploaded on the University Website i.e www.jammuuniversity.in and www.jucdc.in
on 25-08-2012 (at 10.00 a.m.)
2.
Fill the Application Form online.
3.
Scan relevant documents, photographs, thumb impressions, signatures and UPLOAD
them.
4.
Those who cannot upload the scanned documents, photographs, thumb impressions,
signatures, etc. can attach HARDCOPIES to the application Form.
5.
Please check the Eligibility and Fee and Number of Seats details once again.
6.The
print of the uploaded form and qualification certificates alongwith demand
draft of Rs.500/-(which is non-refundable) drawn in favour of Director,
Colleges Development Council, University of Jammu payable at Jammu alongwith
attested photocopies of all qualifying certificates/degrees must be sent to the
Asstt. Registrar (CDC), Administration Block, University of Jammu, Jammu by Registered
post/speed post or by hand so as to reach before the last date(s).
7.
After the form is filled and submitted online, the candidate will come to know
the Form Number automatically.
8.
Only application forms registered online shall be accepted.
9.
In case any change is required to be made in the form, the process of filling
in the form can be restarted and a new form submitted. There is no limit on the
number of forms that can be submitted online. However, the printout of the
correct form only should be posted to the University.
10.
The candidates are advised to keep in constant touch with the University
Website i.e www.jammuuniversity.in and www.jucdc.in
for important notices with regard to
admission dates.

i)
Availability of online application form on University website w.e.f :
25-08-2012 (from 10.00 a.m.)
ii)
Last date for submission of online application form : 15-09-2012 ( till 12.00
p.m.)
iii)
Last date for submission of online application form for management quota seats
: 22-09-2012 ( till 12.00 p.m.)
iii)
Class work to start : 24-09-2012
Fee and Number
of Seats
Fee
for the course shall be Rs.70,000/- per year and there shall be 40 seats under
General Category and 06 seats under Management Quota for each college.
Eligibility
The
admission shall be open to the candidate(s) having:-
a) Passed 10 + 2 from a recognized
Board/University
However the candidates who have passed 10+1
before 1986 and 10th before 1999 will also be eligible for admission; and
b) Obtained a certificate In General
Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R & N & R.M with any State
Nursing Registration Council.
c) A male nurse trained before the
implementation of new integrated course besides being registered as nurse shall
produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a
similar duration in lieu of midwifery
in any of the following areas:-
i) O.T. Techniques ii) Ophthalmic Nursing
iii) Leprosy Nursing iv) Psychiatric Nursing v) Neurological & Neurosurgical
Nursing vi) Community Health Nursing vii) Cancer Nursing vii) Orthopedic
Nursing.
