NOTIFICATION
FOR ADMISSION TO
DIPLOMA
IN EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION.
Applications
are invited from women candidates for admission to the one year Diploma course
in Early Childhood Care and Education at University Teacher Education Centre,
Vatakara for the year 2012-2013.
I. Eligibility
for admission:-
Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination recognized by the
University of Calicut with a minimum of 45% marks (equivalent grade).
Relaxation of 5% marks for OEC and 3% for OBC candidates from the minimum marks
fixed will be allowed. SC/ST candidates including natives of Lakh Dweep need
only a pass in the qualifying examination. Pre-degree holders with the above
minimum marks are also eligible for admission.
II. Course Fee: The Course will
be cost based and the tuition fee is Rs 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only).
III. Duration of
the Course: One Year.
IV.
Total number of seats: 50 exclusively for girls. (The course will be started
only if an intake of 40 students are available).V. Application form for
admission to the course can be obtained in person on production of a chalan
receipt for Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred Only) remitted in the government Treasury/
authorised branches of State Bank of Travancore. Request for application form
by post should be addressed to the Principal, University Teacher Education Centre,
Vatakara, Puthuppanam (P.O),Kozhikode, PIN-673 105 along with a self addressed
stamped (Rs 10/-) envelope and receipted chalan for Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred
only).
VI.
The filled in applications, along with necessary documents should reach the
Principal,University Teacher Education Centre, Vatakara, Puthuppanam (P.O),
Kozhikode (Dist.), PIN-673105 on or before 5 P.M on 05.9.2012.
