Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Tamaka, Kolar, Karnataka will be conducting an All India Entrance Test for admissions to Post Graduate Medical courses for the Academic year 2013-14 on 23.12.2012

The Calendar of events for the Post Graduate Entrance Test is as under:
Starting date for issue of online application forms : 12.10.2012
Last date for receipt of filled application forms : 10.11.2012
Last date for dispatch of Test Admission Tickets (TAT) : 26.11.2012

Post Graduate Medical Programs
Post Graduate Degree (duration of the course 3 years) and Post Graduate Diploma Courses, (duration of the course 2 years) for the academic year 2013-14 are required to commence from 02/05/2013 as per Medical Council Guidelines (any changes in the schedule will be updated on the website).

Eligibility Criteria
Degree / Diploma Programs:
Applicants must meet all requirements of eligibility stipulated by Medical Council of India (MCI). They should be holders of recognized medical qualification as per Medical Council India Act and must have completed or completing their internship by 30/04/2013.

MCI REGULATIONS:
Every student, selected for admission to a Post Graduate medical course in any of the medical institutions on acquiring MBBS Degree or an equivalent qualification thereto shall have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India, or any of the State Medical Council(s) or shall obtain the same within a period of one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which his/her admission shall stand cancelled.
In the case of a foreign national, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college / institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies; Provided further, that temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subjected to the condition that such person is duly registered as medical practitioner in his own country from which the applicant has obtained his / her basic medical qualification and that his / her degree is recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority.
 As per the Post Graduate Regulation 2000 of Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test (SDUAHER– AIPGMET–2013-14) for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for candidates belonging to General Category and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
 Rank list / Rank Card will be prepared only for those students who are eligible for admission to Post Graduate Courses as per the Medical Council of India Post Graduate Regulations.
 The Academy reserves the right to approve the admission of the candidate after verifying all the original documents of the applicants. Mere possession of Rank and Rank card does not qualify an applicant for claiming a seat.

Note:
Change of categories (SC, ST and OBC) will not be entertained subsequent to the submission of application form for SDUAHER–AIPGMET– 2013-14. The students are cautioned to state/provide correctly their category status while filling the application. The declaration / certificate is subject to verification. Any discrepancy or misrepresentation as to the category status while applying entails automatic cancellation of admission.

SDUAHER – AIPGMET – 2013-14
Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research will conduct an entrance test SDUAHER–AIPGMET–2013-14, for candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate courses in medical subjects and the admission will be granted based on the inter se merit determined in said test. The SDUAHER-AIPGMET–2013-14 test scores are valid only for admissions for the academic year 2013-2014.

The SDUAHER-AIPGMET–2013-14 will be conducted at centres in BENGALURU (Bangalore), KARNATAKA on 23-12-2012

The test venue will be mentioned in the candidate’s Test Admission Ticket (TAT) and also on the website under every candidate’s individual login for applicant. Please recheck the website for any changes / updates before leaving your home town for appearing for the test/counselling.


APPLICATION PROCEDURE
 The online application form has to be filled up properly and completely.
 Take a printout of the filled in Application form and Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof for Candidate’s Copy and SDUAHER Copy.
 The Application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned in the checklist. The application can be submitted in person ( for which acknowledgement has to be obtained) or by post addressed to : The Registrar, P.G. Admission Cell, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Tamaka, Kolar -563101, Karnataka, India to reach on or before 5 P.M on 10-11-2012
 Multiple application forms filled and received from the same candidate causing confusion would be treated as deliberate and would result in disqualification.
 Ensure that the Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.1500/-(One Thousand Five hundred only) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education , Kolar (payable at KOLAR) is enclosed.
 Multiple Demand Drafts in excess of the prescribed fee (Rs.1500/-)  if sent, by the candidate will not be refunded.

Note: Send the Application in A4 size envelopes only. Do not fold the application form.

Superscribe the envelope at the top “SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2013-14 Application Form” Checklist of the documents to be sent along with the completed Application Form
1. Demand Draft for Rs 1500/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, SDUAHER, Kolar payable at Kolar (mention your name and application number on the reverse side of Demand Draft).
2. SDUAHER Copy of Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof in the prescribed form duly attested by the head of the institution where he/she has studied last or Gazetted officer from the place of residence of the candidate.
Photograph in the SDUAHER Copy of Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof has to be attested by the Head of the Institution where the candidate has last studied or Gazetted officer from the place of residence of the candidate. Left forefinger impressions to be clear, impressions smudged and unclear such applications will be rejected.
3. Additional photograph (mention your name and application number on the reverse side of photograph)
4. Attested Photocopy of
a) Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate.
b) Internship Completion Certificate / A certificate indicating the exact date of completion of internship from the Head of Institution.
c) Registration Certificate from MCI /State Medical Council(s) (if not registered, the provisional registration certificate along with an undertaking to be attached stating that the certificate will be made available within a month from the date of admission).This is binding as per MCI regulations.
d) Attempt Certificate(s)
e) All marks cards including that of failed year/semester if any (First Year/Semester to Final Year/Semester)
f) Certificate of MCI recognition status of M.B.B.S. qualification issued by the Head of Institutions.
g) Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificates issued by competent authority.

Applicants are directed to go through the instructions carefully before filling the application forms. Applicants are advised to send the filled in application forms well in advance with in the given time and date as per the calendar of events. Grievances if any on non receipt of application will not be entertained.

Note:
Please do note that the Photographs submitted should be identical, clear and in colour, and should not be more than 6 months old. Application with smudged/tampered or hazy photograph will not be accepted. Any application received not adhering to these specifications is liable to be rejected without any clarifications and no refund will be made of the application money. The decision of The Academy on this would be final and binding. For all future correspondence with SDUAHER– AIPGMET – 2013-14, applicants need to quote their Application Number and TAT Number (Test Admission Ticket) as applicable.

The Test Admission Ticket would be dispatched to the candidate by speed post at the address mentioned in his/her application form. All Test Admission Tickets will be dispatched by 26-11-2012. Candidates who do not receive the Test Admission Tickets on or before 03-12-2012, must contact helpdesk at Ph: 08152-243247 or at email: office@sduu.ac.in  to have the details on the status of the Test Admission Ticket dispatch. Candidates can also view their test centre details in the SDUAHER website www.sduu.ac.in  through Applicant Login.

TEST LOCATION
The SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2013-14 will be held in BENGALURU (Bangalore), Karnataka. The test will be held on the time and date mentioned. The details of the test centre will be published online. The Centre Address will be mentioned in the TAT, which would be dispatched to the candidates prior to the examination as per the calendar of events.
