Admission Announcement: PGDMA 2013-15
National
Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad announces
the admission to Vth batch of 2-year residential and full time programme, Post-Graduate
Diploma in Management- Agriculture (PGDMA). The programme is duly approved
by AICTE.
Eligibility: The
minimum qualification is Four year Bachelors degree from any Agricultural
University or Institution recognized by the ICAR / UGC in Agriculture,
Agri-Business Management/ Commercial Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and
Cooperation, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Bioinformatics,
Agricultural Biotechnology, Dairy Science/Technology, Fisheries, Food
Technology/Food Process Engineering, Forestry, Horticulture, Sericulture and
Veterinary Sciences. The appearing students who are going to complete their
degree by 30th June 2013 are also eligible to apply.
Admission
Process: The interested candidates for admission to PGDMA@NAARM will be
screened on the basis of CAT 2012 scores. The short-listed candidates
only will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Final selection will be done on the basis of CAT scores, academic record and
scores obtained in GD & PI. The details of course curriculum, fee
structure, placement information and facilities available can be seen from
Academy's website (www.naarm.ernet.in).
IMPORTANT : The Academy will use only
CAT 2012 scores for short-listing candidates. Therefore, all the aspirants for
admission in PGDMA@NAARM should register for CAT 2012 (www.catiim.in). However, IIM or any other
institutions have no role either in the selection process.
The students with eligible Bachelor degree should have appeared in
CAT examination during current year (CAT 2012). The candidates are short-listed
based on CAT scores for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). GD
and PI are conducted at NAARM campus during April-May. The final list of
short-listed candidates for admission into PGDMA is announced in first
fortnight of the month of May. The decision of the selection committee in this
regard will be final. However, the selection criteria are subject to change as
per AICTE norms.
