Admission Notification to the Ph.D., Programme in Arabic and Persian 2013.

Applications are invited from the interested candidates to enroll for the Ph. D., programme in Arabic & Persian in the prescribed proforma. The selection procedure should be followed as per UGC norms and the schedule as follow. All subsequent notifications regarding the same will also be notified in the notice board of the department.

Number of Seats: 15 in Arabic & 10 in Persian (Total: 25)
•   Reservation policy as per state and central Govt, will be followed_

Eligibility : Masters Degree in relevant subject from a UGC recognized University

Last date for submission of Application Forms        : 31st Jan.2013 (Thursday)

Application form is available at www.caluniv.ac.in and duly Filled-in form along with a challan, before the payment, it is to be endorsed by the HOD, which accompanied by a one-page research proposal and copies of MA mark-sheet and NET/SET/M.Phil., certificate (if applicable) to be submitted at the office of HOD latest by the date shown above.

Date of Written Research Eligibility Test (WRET): 27,h Feb.2013 at 12 noon (Wednesday)Total Marks: 80 Syllabus of WRET & ORET will be the same as UGC/NET Examination in Arabic & Persian. Structure of WRET: 40 multiple-choice questions, carrying two marks each and no negative marking, Duration: One Hour.

Date of Oral Research Eligibility Test (ORET): 28,h March 2013 at 12 noon (Thursday) Total Marks: 20
