Gandhinagar has invited applications for admission to Master’s and Doctoral
Programs in Forensic Science and Forensic Pharmacy for the academic year
2013-14.

Institute of
Forensic Science:
1. MSc
Forensic Science- 2 years (4 semesters)
(Specialization in Forensic Biotechnology /
Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology / Forensic Physical Sciences / Questioned
Documents and Fingerprints / Forensic Information Technology)
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Science / Medicine
/ Engineering / Pharmacy with minimum 55% marks.
2. MS
Digital Forensics and Information Assurance - 2 years (4 Semesters)
Eligibility: BSc Physics / Computer Sciences / IT
or BE / BTech with Computer / IT with minimum 55 % marks.
3. PG
Diploma in Forensic Accounting - 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in any discipline with
basic knowledge of Accountancy and competency in computer applications.
4. PG
Diploma in Forensic Management - 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Science / Medicine
/ Engineering / Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.
5. PG
Diploma in Fingerprint Science - 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Science / Medicine
/ Engineering / Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.
6. PG
Diploma in Forensic Document Examination - 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Science / Medicine
/ Engineering / Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.
7. Post
Basic Diploma Forensic Nursing - (2 Semesters)
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in nursing with
minimum 55% (50% in case of SC / ST) marks.
8. Masters
in Hospital Management - (4 Semesters)
Eligibility: Any graduate from a recognized
university with minimum 55% aggregate

1. PG
Diploma in Forensic Psychology - 1 year (2 Semesters)
Eligibility: Full time regular MA / MSc in
Psychology.
2. MPhil in
Clinical Psychology (RCI Approved Course) - 2 years
Eligibility: MA / MSc degree in Psychology with
minimum 55% marks.
3. MPhil in
Forensic Psychology - 2 years (4 Semesters)
Eligibility: Full time regular MA / MSc in
Psychology with minimum 55% marks.
5. Masters
in Neuropsychology (Clinical / Forensic Specialization) - 2 years (4 Semesters)
Eligibility: BA / BSc / BPsy Degree in Psychology
(or in counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology) with
minimum 50% marks.
6. Masters
in Forensic Psychology
Eligibility: BA / BSc Degree in Psychology or
Science subjects from recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in
aggregate. For SC / ST category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

in Forensic Nano Technology - 2 years (4 Semesters)
(Specialization in Nano Science Nanotechnology /

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of
Science / Medicine / Engineering / Pharmacy with minimum 55% marks.
3. MS
Environmental Forensics (4 Semesters)
Eligibility:Bachelor degree in any discipline of
Science (except mathematics and statistics), medicine, pharmacy / BE Civil ,
Chemical, Environmental Engineering with 55% marks.
4. MS-PhD (5
Years integrated) Forensic Pharmacy Programme
Eligibility: BPharm Degree with minimum 60% marks,
preference will be given to GATE / GPAT Qualified candidates.
5. MS-PhD (5
Years integrated) Forensic Nanotechnology Programme
Eligibility: A candidate should have Bachelor’s
degree in any discipline of Science / Medicine / Engineering / Pharmacy with
minimum 60% marks.
6. PhD
Programme:
All the disciplines leading to PhD Degree in
Forensic Science, Forensic Pharmacy, Forensic Nanotechnology and Behavioral
Science.

1000/-. DD should be taken in favour of The registrar, Gujarat Forensic
Sciences University, payable at Gandhinagar.
