ADMISSION TO BRIDGE COURSE FOR GRADUATES OF DEENI MADARIS Session:
2013-14
Applications are invited on the prescribed form
available at the University Websites www.amu.ac.in
and www.amucontrollerexams.com for Bridge Course for Graduates of Deeni
Madaris.
Duration of Course: one year
Intake of Students: 50 per year
Eligibility
Criteria for Candidates:
Indian National of either gender, possessing
Aalimiyat or Faziliyat or equivalent qualification from any government aided or
autonomous Madarsa in India.
Age limit up to 25 years.
Last Date for Submission of Application: Sep.25, 2013.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of an all India Screening Test.
Screening: The screening shall include MCQ
(multiple choice questions) on topics like general awareness, aptitude,
knowledge of basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry), elementary Mathematics,
Social studies Civics, Economics,
History and Geography), comprehension and expression of English language, and
Theology
The test paper shall be available in two languages-
English and Urdu.
Date of
Entrance Test: October 7, 2013.
Accommodation during the Course: Shall be provided
in various residential buildings lying vacant in the University and/or hostels
as per the availability.
Food: Shall be provided from kitchen of halls close
by, on payment of usual food charges.
Fee Structure: A tuition fee of Rs. 1,200/- + Rs.
300/- admission fee (total Rs. 1,500/-) to be paid in half yearly instalments
of Rs. 750/-shall be realized from the students themselves. Boarding charges shall be Rs. 1,650/- per anum (plus
messing charges Rs. 1,000/- per month). However, deserving needy students may
be provided with scholarships or freeships.
Course Certificate: At the end of one year, after
the completion of the Bridge Course, all students will be required to take a
test. Those clearing the test with a minimum of 50% marks would be entitled to
receive a Certificate.
