The Course: The
UGC & AICTE-approved 2-year regular MBA course has been running
successfully since 2006-07.
Eligibility: A
Graduate or a Post-Graduate in any discipline of Arts / Science / Commerce
including Medical / Engineering / 5-year Law under 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent
with 45% marks (40% for candidates under reserved categories) either in aggregate
(for General Course candidates) or in Honours (Honours Papers only) or at Master’s
level, is eligible for admission.
Admission
Procedure:
1. Application
Form: Available on the University website; get it downloaded. Price Rs. 250
payable in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Vidyasagar University”
on any Bank payable at Midnapore .

Qualification: CAT / MAT / CET / Any other recognized Test / Own Test (‘VUMAT –
2013’)
3.
Last date of receiving filled in application forms CAT/MAT/CET/VUMAT (appearing)
etc. qualified candidates: 16th September, 2013 (upto 11.30 AM)
Own Test
(VUMAT-2013) Details:
1. Date, Time,
and Venue of the Test: 16th September, 2013 from 12.00 Noon to 2.00
PM at the Dept.
of Business Administration, Vidyasagar University campus,
Midnapore
2. Test subjects
and type: English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs,
Reasoning (25 MCQ-type questions in each Section = 100 Marks)
3. Date for GD
and PI on the campus: 16th September, 2013 at 3.00 PM. Invitation
for participation in GD and PI is open to all eligible applicants with valid
Test Score (including those qualified in ‘VUMAT – 2013’). There may not be any
separate formal invitation for the same.
