Kalinga
Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University, Bubhaneswar, Odhissa, has
invited applications for admission to the various Undergraduate, Post Graduate
and Research Programmes for 2014-15. Admission to the Progammes will be based
on the score in the KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) 2014, to be held as an
online computer based test from 24th April, 2014 to 3rd May, 2014. There is no
application fee or examination fee to apply for KIITEE 2014.
The
courses offered and the qualifications for each are as follows.
Undergraduate
Courses:
B.Tech(4
years)/B.Tech&M.Tech-Dual Degree (5 years)/B.Tech& MBA-Dual Degree (5
years) Course: Applicant should have
been born on or after 01.07.1993 and should have passed 10+2 examination in
2012, 2013 or should be appearing in 10+2 examination in 2014 and should have
studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
Applicant should have scored at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics taken together. For B.Tech&M.Tech(Dual Degree) Biotechnology,
applicant should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
B.Tech.-LE
(3 years): Applicant should have born on or after 01.07.1990 and should have a
pass in three years diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% marks in
aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state. The
eligibility for each branch is based on the eligible diploma for that course
and are as under (Branch, eligible Diploma).

Bachelor
of Architecture(5 years): Applicant should have born on or after 01.07.1993 and
should have a pass in 10+2 examination from a recognized board or its
equivalent, subject to securing 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a
subject at Higher Secondary level and a pass in the National Aptitude Test in
Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi
either in 2014 or 2013.
MBBS/BDS:10+2
pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in
Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates
and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST
Candidates. Applicant should complete 17 years as on 31.12.14. Upper age limit
is 25 years as on 31.12.14. The upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for
SC/ST candidates.
B.Sc.
Nursing (4 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics,
Chemistry & Biology and English(PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.14 & upper age limit is 35 years as
on 31.12.14.
B.ALL.B/BBA
LL.B/B.Sc LL.B(5 years): Applicant should not have completed 21 years of age as
on 01.07.14 and should have a pass in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at
least 45% marks.For B.Sc. LL.B, applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent
in the science stream with at least 45% marks.
BBA:
Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having
Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of the subjects in
10+2 level and should have been born on or after 01.07.1993.
Integrated
MCA:
Applicant should have a Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and
having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level& should have born
on or after 01.07.1993.
Bachelor
of Design (Fashion/Textile) (4 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination
from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate and should
have born on or after 01.07.1993.
Bachelor
of Film & Television Production (3 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent
examination from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate
and should have born on or after 01.07.1993.
Those
who have passed IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization,
Geneva, Switzerland are eligible to take admission in all the courses where
10+2 is the eligibility qualification. Other criteria of the eligibility remain
as applicable.
Postgraduate
Courses:
MCA (3
years):
Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having
Mathematics either in 10+2 or Graduation level, as one of the subjects.
Applicant should have been born on or after 01.07.1990.
M.Tech
(2 years):
B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree (AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective
branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or
First Class MCA/First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC). GATE qualified candidates
shall be accorded preference in the process of selection. GATE qualified
candidates having score 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination.

01.07.1990.
LL.M:
Candidate should have passed B.A.LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc.LLB/B.L Degree or should an
equivalent Degree from recognized University and must have secured at least 55%
of marks in aggregate.
M.Sc
Nursing: Applicant should be a registered Nurse or Registered midwife or
equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council. The minimum education
requirement shall be passing of B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc
Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks(5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST
applicants). Applicant should have undergone
B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.HonsNursing/
PostBasic B.ScNursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing
Council and should have minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc
Nursing.Applicant should be medically fit.
Research
Programme:
Ph.D:
M.Tech/ME/ MCA/MBA or equivalent Degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent
CGPA or M.Sc/MA/M.Com/LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks or
an equivalent.
For
all the courses, those appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply.
But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination on
the day of counseling failing which their rank/position secured in the entrance
Examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for
the admissions as per the rank.
KIITEE-2014

Applications
have to be either submitted online at http://www.kiitee.ac.in
or at http://www.kiit.ac.inor
applications can be downloaded from these websites, filled and submitted. For
submitting application, applicant should visit http://www.kiitee.ac.in
or http://www.kiit.ac.in
and select ‘Online
Application’/‘Download’ option. If one wishes to download, applicant should
take the print out of downloaded Application Form.
Applicant
should go through the Instructions to fill up the form, fill up the ‘Online
Application Form’ and submit.A print out of Application Form mentioning the
Registration Number is to be taken and photographs pasted in the space provided
for it. Applicant and parent/guardian should sign on ‘Signature’ columns. The
printout has to be despatched along with two passport size photographs pasted
in appropriate place and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet. Applicant should
retain photocopies of ‘printed application form’ which may serve as reference
for future correspondence. The online application will be accepted subject to
receipt of printed application, photographs and copy of 10thPass
Certificate/Mark sheet only.
For
downloaded application form, the applicants have to fill up all the fields very
carefully and send it with the photographs and 10thPass Certificate/Mark
sheet. The print out of online
Application form or filled in downloaded application form should be submitted
in person/by post (Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier) to ‘The Director, Admissions, KIIT University, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar,
Odisha-751024’ so as to reach by 5 p.m. on 25.03.2014.
Information
on receipt of applications at KIIT will be available in the website http://www.kiitee.ac.in & http://www.kiit.ac.in
. Applicants can check status of their Application Form on the website after 20 days of its dispatch
to KIIT.
The
last date of receiving filled in Application form is 25.3.2014.
Admit
Card will be hosted in the website by 5.4.2014.
Result
declaration is expected by 15.5.2014.
Counselling
will be from 2.6.2014 to 15.6.2014. Detailed Counselling Schedule will be
declared after the publication of result.
