PG/ Ph.D ADMISSION NOTICE 2014-2015

Applications are invited by B.B. Ambedkar University, Lucknow for admission to the following full-time Postgraduate and PhD programs of Academic Year 2014-15.

1. Postgraduate Programs / Courses:

MA: Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology; MSc: Applied Animal Science, Biotechnology, Brain and Cognition Sciences, Environmental Microbiology, Environmental Science, Horticulture, Information Technology, Human Development & Family Studies, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics; MPharm: Pharmaceutical Sciences; MBA: Rural Management; MCA: Computer Science; MLISc: Library & Information Science; LLM: Law, Human Rights; MTMC: Journalism & Mass Communication.

2. PhD Programs / Courses:

In all the subjects of the PG programmes mentioned above, except Brain and Cognition Sciences

How to apply:

(1) Prospectus containing Application Form for Entrance Test available BY HAND from the 'Canara Bank branches at BBA University, Hazratganj and Alambagh in Lucknow' on payment of Rs.800/- plus Bank charges in cash (Rs.200/- plus Bank charges for SC / ST / PH candidates) in case of PG programs, and Rs.1000/- plus Bank charges in cash (Rs.250/- plus Bank charges for SC / ST / PH candidates) in case of PhD programs during the normal working hours of the Bank.

(2) Online Application Form may be submitted on the website www.bbau.ac.in by paying the prescribed fee through Payment Gateway / E.Challan / NEFT.

(3) Application Form may also be submitted By Hand or Sent By Post to reach 'Admission Cell, B.B. Ambedkar University, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226025'. A candidate can apply for more than one course by filling up separate Application Form for each course.

(4) Candidates need not send/submit copy of (self-attested) mark sheets / grade sheets / certificates with the Application, but submit the same at the time of counseling / interview.

(5)* In case of PhD program, candidates having JRF (UGC / CSIR / ICAR-JRF) and also Foreign / NRI candidates are exempted from Entrance Test. The candidates appearing in the final year / semester of PG examination are required to submit the mark sheet / grade sheet of final year / semester of PG examination to the concerned Department of the University by 12th July 2013 for PhD admission failing which their application will not be considered for admission.

Last date for submission of completed application is 20th March 2014.
